The best theory imo is that it's tobacco. He was cupping his hand over his pipe when he smoked it inside trying to be sneaky, getting it all tobacco'd up.

Baccy don't stain like that, I'm a fairly heavy smoker (30 - 40 a day) and smoke rollies so I am really familiar with tobacco stains, I also work with a lot of it's gona stain materials like charcoal dust, forge scale, BLO, various wood stains etc.

Having said that I wash my hands regularly, and don't have boglim grade grooming habits.

I want to say it's dry skin build up mixed with various stains but I can't see what he'd be doing to build up a patch of dried skin like that. It's like he's got the hands of a manual worker without being a manual worker.

It has to be true because we know he doesn't change the coils in the vape tanks. I think Cobes is on year two of that coil that was probably bad after one week. His pipe is clogged with burnt/unburnt tobacco, spit, and whatever else finds its way into that pipe. He used to be a bit better when it came to caring for his pipe but I guess he lost that pipe tool.
