Kratom is actually pretty much harmless.

It can be addictive, but it’s literally just ground up leaves that make you feel good.

You can’t overdose on it (you’d get a headache and throw up before that would ever happen).

If anything, it might be good for him because he’ll feel good from the Kratom and in turn do less of other more harmful substances.

I wish he would get hooked on some bullshit like bananadine. Just smoking banana peels thinking he is 'hacking' something and acting like he's high.

If anything, Clint should drag our filthy boglim to the gym. Its a good excuse to force him to shower and hopefully get hooked on pumping iron. Of course, once he tries to lift up some light weight it would shatter some delusions about 'big muscles'

Before I got sober 5 years ago I was pretty heavy on the kratom. Not making this my personal diary or medical fagging but I feel like most people don't really understand how addictive kratom can be.

You are right though, compared to anything else cobes would be doing it's relatively harmless, but I've heard that a lot of kratom from sketchier sources have been found to have high levels of heavy metals including lead... This wouldn't be an issue if cobes was ordering it online from a reputable source but we all know he's probably buying it at a head shop or gas station...

Take it nearly everyday for 2 years for chronic pain. It was the worst withdrawal I've ever had. I miss not having pain though.
 
So let's say he starts doing kratom, in addition to whatever he's doing now plus the alcohol. Is that going to complement his high and potentially do him bad?

Or is this a substance that he would do instead of drinking all the time?

In all seriousness I think your right at least as he stands now, but I hold out hope because if I can get sober so can he - I have a soft spot for Josh I don't know why but I just feel for the poor retarded fucker I know he's not nice and he likes to present a laughable image of himself to the world but deep down I honestly just think he wants help.

There are a handful of kiwis on here that will admit being so rock bottom and hopeless, yet made it out of addiction and deep dark places. If we can do it, there is definitely hope for cobez...


The problem is he seems to relish in his lifestyle and likes it. Thats what makes me think he will never get out of it, or at least to a more manageable level of alcohol and drug use.

Oh I freely admit I am one of those people, I've yet to find someone who cant but they have to get into the mind space of wanting to BE better and not let shit like Drink or Drugs rule there life.

I get what your saying and honestly I think it's tied into not just his image of himself but his ODD, Cobes is about what 14/15 in terms of mental development, if you think back to that age of your life you can recall times you made a bad decision and just dug your heels in to prove people wrong, add that to alcoholism an drug use it's a mighty fucking force to over come.

For Josh to get better he needs to reach a crisis point, a personal one he can't just call Daddy Nipps to worm his way out of he needs to just be put in a box mentally speaking for a while away from his distractions like Drink, drugs and the internet and have to deal with himself mentally .
