Just wanna pay my respects by posting my personal favorite Cobes moment - may have been posted earlier in the thread but I didn't see so sorry if this is a repeat.
It's also one of my favorite loops of his - the appropriately titled "Im sick of mass shootings" from Sept 2024. Here's the good part clipped.


It's a perfect storm really. The fucking distorted loud Pink Floyd backing, the gunshots punctuating the song at random moments, him just looking dead fish into his monitor either vibing or in some sort of pain, the false British falsetto he's trying on, the part where he just gives up and outright says the song's message... it's all just hilariously unsubtle and when I first watched this I hadn't laughed that hard in years. Even watching this now it still makes me weak.

Probably retreading old ground but idc.

I enjoyed keeping up with cobes because he wasnt a bad person, he was just some quirky guy living in bumfuck nowhere land who made wands and drank like a fish, in a world full of Anisa & Ian Jomha's and Giggly Goonclowns, Cobes was a rare case where you didn't look with scorn or disgust but could just watch him make something that looked barely edible or have an alcohol fueled rant at whatever was on his mind and have a good laugh. I'm gonna miss him bros.

Tbh I was really worried for him when Ozzy died. He really took a serious downturn when that happened, not that he didn't have a bunch of other shit on his plate at the time. It's like it was the last straw.

I looked it up, and autopsy reports are not public record in Wyoming. It would be up to Clint to decide whether he wanted to share it. He might, if he considered it a "public service," and he might not for privacy reasons to avoid exploitation by the troles. I think he will at least share the cause of death.

Why did this picture actually make me really fucking sad? Id known about Cobra since waaay before the farms, hell even before Chris chan. I mentioned i liked ozzy in an online chat at like age 12 and got sent cobes' channel. I never really participated and basically never do with lolcows, but it was fun popping in every month or so to see what the gothic bad boy was up to. Kinda feels like a part of the Internet died with him. I dont think we'll ever see another "likeable lolcow" with how much splinter groups and reddits tend to always accelerate things way early. RIP Cobes, you were genuinely fun to watch.

Also has NAL said anything yet? I fully expected a break down pity party stream by now, especially with the whole seed thing.
 
I brought myself to watch Clint’s video in full. I think if you are torn up about this situation it is important to do so. I understand the apprehension to the sadness it may cause but I believe it is what we owe Josh and his family at this time. Pull off the bandage of grief. I want to celebrate our fucking boy.
 
I am here for the implementation of Gamer Justice on Reddit. Not been a real follower kf the thread but always enjoyed his MATI segments. The idea that there were people sending bottles of everclear to an alcoholic is really infuriating for how straight up malicious that is.

Good so they are investigating, I even tipped them off and put a little document together for them with archived videos. Glad I wasn't the only one to contact them and so they put out a presser. Feel free to give them a call and ask them to do a full panel toxicology screen for a possible suspicious death. Testing for plant Alkaloids is very specific, so I hope they test for it. This might explain why Clint took the video down, investigators might have approached him and asked him to remove it. It's also possible Clint didn't want weird internet freaks bothering him and took it down himself.

For anyone saying he was poisoned. I can tell you that is 99% unlikely. I have a background in toxicology. Most poisons act in 2 ways, acutely, meaning you die within 24 hours, or chronically, meaning it takes weeks or months of ingestion to kill. His pattern of symptoms doesn't fit either.

His symptoms are most similar to an acute pathological process. As I mentioned earlier in this thread when he first started posting about his illness the symptoms that he mentioned, RUQ pain with nausea, vomiting, etc... , given his recent history, either acute hepatitis and/or acute pancreatitis were most likely. Gastroenteritis from a viral or bacterial origin was unlikely as a result of his chronic alcohol intake, which is actually protective against microbial gastroenteritis.

There is a certain point where no amount of medical intervention will make a difference, and he likely crossed that threshold sometime on Thursday. Unless he had gotten medical help sometime on Wednesday it is very unlikely any medical help would have made a difference.

Hopefully someone makes this clear to his father so he doesn't think "If only I had gotten there earlier in the day" it is almost certain getting there sooner on Thursday wouldn't have made any difference in the outcome.

Josh was an interesting guy. But personally, there comes a point where so many people fuck with someone that I lose interest. I stopped watching when his A-Logs started sending him air dusters knowing he’d huff that shit for a high.

If anyone deserves shit for enabling Cobes’s bad habits, it’s those fucking people.
