A 3 bedroom casket for Cobra to die in -- when he inevitably goes into septic shock or respiratory arrest from EtOH.

I've always been bothered that between Professor Clunt's Master's Degree and step mom Tannis' Ph.D., these two parents can't figure out a way, with all that "higher education" and brain power/resources, to improve Josh's quality of life, let alone -- save their retarded son's life?

Instead, they watch and let him rot.

I think that internet streaming, essentially the act of talking to yourself for several hours a day multiple times a week also causes mental illness. Obviously it is also partly the case that crazy people might tend to go into internet streaming. I wonder if there are any academic studies about it?

Like Bogger said there is a serious issue with isolation.

Firstly, I was once told that when a human is secluded for long enough, the body releases cortisol - a stress hormone involved in fight or flight. My vague understanding of this hormone is that it can increase heart rate and blood pressure, cause muscle wastage and contribute to anxiety.

Secondly, I have been unfortunate enough to have worked in government housing and I can confirm that people who have no jobs and a small social circle deteriorate at an astonishing rate.

You can meet someone in their 40’s who is completely cooked with mess everywhere bang out of shape grey balding and with signs of dementia.

On the flip side, you can go to a government housing location and meet an 80 year old with a large family, hobbies, daily outgoings, local friends and they are running around mowing the lawn cooking dinner and insisting that they help you with the job you have - they don’t look a day over 65 and are sharp as an arrow.

Staying in and not doing anything is a seriously dangerous lifestyle. We’re not built for it.

Some people can't be helped. You need to make peace with it and realize Cobes being the way he is isn't some moral failing of Clints. He's done a lot more for Cobes than other parents would have done. That doesn't mean they haven't made mistakes along the way. But literally any other parent would have made many of the same ones or given up on him altogether by now.

Clint is a weird Tobias Funke like entity whose art and behavior are borderline retarded as well, but he genuinely loves his baby boglim. And I respect the hell out of that as somebody whose biological father never wanted to have anything to do with him.

It’s too bad he biffed it. Now all he has is Floorlord, memories of LN and of course rot gut vodka. I miss the good old days.
 

New food review, 3 days old Wendy's Taki meal. He's eating it now because he "had other food already" and he "wasn't that hungry since Ozzy died"
