If the world was ordered right someone like Cobes wouldn't even know the word politics. He'd be sortin glass, drinking a reasonable amount of beer after work with his buddies, maybe even getting the occasional of age alive unrelated cisgender fe-male.

Cobes came very, painfully close to a happy niche life with Stephanie. In another world, Josh and Stephanie are happily married with a kid or two and work their minimum wage jobs while tending to a few little Boglets while the BOY uploads semi-regular YouToob content playing guitar, talking shit, Riding Bike(weather permittable) and blasting the national anthem. He would have just been like all the other denizens of Casper, WY - Trailer park trash sans trailer. Another in the long line of Homeboy Scotty's and Jeremy Rogers'.

I used to think this and it's a nice ending, but it would have never happened. It's just typical young/first love on both sides.

I don't buy Josh's cheating story about doubleteaming a woman with Chris in his van. He can't even look at dicks on a screen in his porn, even back then. Maybe he hallucinated it or something else happened. He believed his dry spell ended for a few days just off Scotty gaslighting him, he's that dumb.

Stephanie fell for the big dick and polycule life. It was a huge blow to his ego and since nearly every one of these side characters at the time is related to each other, I'm sure he heard about it more than he wanted to.

Stephanie being young, dumb and into open relationships doomed it from the start. They'd have broken up even if Cobes treated her right and made her a 3 cheese hot pocket every single day. You can't turn your acquaintance's concubine into an of-age, alive, consenting cisgender goth housewife.
