thats most likely what it is honestly. i also think he is worried that without NAL the next dry spell could be even longer if not forever. so he will just pretend that NAL is an entirely normal and sane person and any of her episodes are just because shes a woman and because the trolls made her upset. those two things will always be to blame and unless someone better comes into his life to prove that he is wrong without forcing it on him he will continue to be able to excuse whatever NAL does.

As I and other "troles" suspect, these last couple of years he's probably gotten majority of his calories from alcohol on most days. Plus cigs, dip, vapes, and all other manner of copious nicotine ingestion suppressing his appetite.
Twice or Thrice a week pig outs on $100+ doordash orders all probably equate to about a normal amount of calories for a normal healthy person, though I've admittedly not done the math on that. The "food hacks" usually get grazed on over multiple days or thrown out immediately after taking a bite of whatever vile concoction to say "tastes good yootoob!" so he can own the trolls with the dankness.
He's always fluctuated with the salt and water bloat but the mead loop and 1 to 2 THOUSAND calories of rancid sugar a day will most certainly put on weight on someone like that. Not even to mention middle age creeping up plus being entirely sedentary.

the only way i see him ever breaking up with her is if she actually does try and murder him and even then there would still be a chance he would forgive her. i do wonder if there is anything she can do that will make him so annoyed with her that he would be willing to take the ego hit.

It's ridiculously good. Used to fill the sink with hot water, then throw in a bunch of mint (if you let mint grow it will take over your yard). The bong itself used the mouthpiece of a trumpet with a screen in it, the bong itself was a gallon Gatorade bottle. One hit and you were ready for the day. Two hits, and you were ready to spend the day on the couch.

Have smoked maybe a half-dozen times in the last 20 years, but it's almost certainly still a very good way to do it.

The problem with NAL isn't that she smokes weed, it's what she does afterwards.

It’s easy to look at Cobra’s weird stuff uncharitably if you’re pissed off that he lives sans consequence in a lot of circumstances and you’re somebody who doesn’t give a fuck and lives the same way, but you have to shoulder the brunt of all your poor decisions. This is why most of the redditors are pissed off, they are actually jealous of his lack of consequences. They wish they could jack it all day and smoke dehydrated bed bugs like our king does but they just don’t have the rizz or the tizz.
