Well considering how Skype has become more bloated than Kim Dotcom anything else would be a welcome addition. Though don't people just use kik and other smartphone apps? So maybe the market has already become saturated idk.
 
Founder of Piratebay is also making hemlis which is supposed to be another secure messaging service. There might have been another good messaging service but I forgot what it was. Old skype was good, but new skype is shit and all your messages are stored somewhere.
 
Skype gets worse with every new update so I welcome any usable alternatives.
