Because right now, the only reason someone would go there would probably be because of the "Atari Porn" AVGN episode, but it can be found on youtube as well, so what's the point?
Or to worship James despite is constant decline in quality.


Also Hitbox died because the admins shortsightedly fused with Abzuu (or whatever the name was) and made a Frankenstein monster called "Smashcast.tv", which is pretty much just Hitbox but with even less audience and a forced bright theme.

No telling if Nick is just the new "it" thing people are being drawn to because of all the drama going on with Ralph, CRP, Zoom, etc., or if he's actually going to keep those numbers long term, but I can say a few positive points in his favor from what I've seen of him are that he legitimately seems to know what he's talking about in his area of expertise and he at least seems skeptical of /pol/-tier conspiracy theories while Ralph and co would buy into any radical idea that was floated to them no matter how unlikely and spend 2 hours ranting about it like they had proof.

One more reason to visit Cinemassacre is to browse his videos by date and category because James has a huge backlog of videos.

So nobody is calling them a pedo, but people are calling them pedos? Like I said I'm fairly certain nobody here is, unless you're talking about people on /cow/ or elsewhere, and if you are then I don't see why that's a relevant point to make here instead of wherever you're seeing that done if it bothers you so much.

And if your point was actually trying to tell people to not start doing it, then I don't see why you'd feel that necessary since nobody's doing it to begin with.

Nick is very good and engaging when he's talking lolsuits, and there have been a lot lately. Knoxville revealed his interrogation powers. He deserves every viewer he gets for those streams

I have found the show to suffer when it's issues discussion. His guests who aren't Null tend to be pulled from the EVS streams and while they're certainly passionate about comic books starring women and minorities, they're just not interesting. I think we'll know if Nick's star will stay where it is when the current lolsuit slows down and he does a few issues streams. He has explicitly mentioned how he'd like to do less lawyering and more streaming, so maybe he'll start chasing better guests

Also, I don't know if this has been asked. Ralph mentioned that the plan may have been to bring @Null onto yesterday's killstream despite admin direction to him. Can that be confirmed or denied?

Stream.me's board of directors was the same assortment of people as something called Accretive Solutions, a webhost that's been in business for a long time. It was hosted with them in-house. This was demonstrated in images posted to /cow/.

When the site went down, Ralph claimed the support staff had no idea what was going on and thought it may be maintenance. The DNS briefly pointed at GoDaddy when it delivered 404/403 errors and now the DNS points at nothing.

I believe that one of the board members decided to close it by themselves. This person didn't have access to everything so they took it down with what they did have access to. They apparently owned the domain and had access to the apple/google stores. They took down the apps and changed the domain's DNS to their private GoDaddy DNS, which pointed to an empty GoDaddy VPS they owned. There was probably a schism and this decision was not unanimous.

There's no way to know for sure that's what happened but that's what it looks like based on the evidence available.
 
You could always tell stream.me didn't really want the killstream and friends there. They always advertised their site as a gaming platform. If you didn't know anything about the site you would think the top streams were fortnite streams. I would guess that when they invited Ralph they were hoping to attract some more "desirable" streamers. They wanted to be Twitch but all they got was the youtube rejects.

I can only say any of this in hindsight, but I sort of disagree.

In light of the site shuttering and the owners (?) phasing into the ether, these guys probably courted Ralph and co. in order to cash in on the fad and cash out with Stream.me. Monday was a fine time to cut the cord when you consider all the drama and the upsurge in mentions along the lines of "Stream.me's future will be decided tonight." That kind of stuff right there is why I believe they chose to end it: the regular people were focusing on the site rather than the creators. Easier to be done with it and leave.

It's not exactly rocket science to see where some of these personalities/careers are heading.
