What a truly unexpected twist.

How good are the odds that they took the site down just to oust any and all IBS retards off the platform though?

Agreed.

I had heard that Ice Poseidon had something to do with StreamMe, or it was part of a network he does business with. Is there any truth to this, and if so - since he recently and inadvertently revealed he's part of a ponzi scheme - might this be connected? Pure speculation, but StreamMe's nuking looks far more official.

One of the people that invested into Ice's network was the CEO of stream.me

I gotta admit I was hope for a trash fire of glory tonight but Stream.me dying the day of is really fucking funny to me.:story: I don't know if Ralph is lucky or unlucky today.

Oh well R.I.P. Jim's streams on Stream.me too.

So wait, is this death planned? They were due to renew at the end of Jan but it's march now.
Either they planned it or they are a lazy bunch of people who couldn't be fucked to do it because it wasn't worth all of the recent drama.
Edit: I wonder if Ralph and the rest will get their superberries??

If it was pre planned then it's a pretty shitty thing to do. People rely on their site to make their income. If they knew for over a month that they were shutting down and didn't warn people that they were about to essentially lose their job, that would make them assholes.

I can only hope for a post-mortem stream.me interview that goes:

Q: what would you say is the biggest hurdle that a new upstart streaming service must overcome?
A: Corey Barnhill
