That's one of the reasons why I always thought Jamil had greater potential to change his situation. He was quite resistant at times, but you at least got a sense that he listened. I always got the feeling that Jamil constantly feeding off of Kent's negative energy was one of his biggest issues. Not that Jamil didn't already have his own issues, but it's clear that he built his world around his inability to attract women in conjunction with Kent's series of rants on YT. At least Jamil is showing upside at this point. I feel good about his progress.

Kent? One ear and out the other. It could be 300 people telling Kent to do this, but those 4-6 guys he relate to will have a better chance of being heard by him. I know the majority isn't always right, but there are many times when they are. Kent would rather tell those 300 people to "jump off of a bridge" or likely brand them as haters, while the usual "keep doing your thing, Kent" will motivate him to continue doing the same dumb crap over and over and over and over again.

Does anyone think Kent got a chance to ask his female friend if she found him attractive? Really would like an update on that.
 
That asking her idea is got to be top 3 if not taking the cake for worst ideas Kent has, it's a no win situation. Part of me is so baffled and almost rustled by it I want to type out why it's a fools errand.

I was wrong last time about a B&W video, so I don't want to keep stabbing at it till I get it but he's gonna put himself into some hurt for this, and even if he avoids it he's got nothing achieved. He doesn't even explain what this gains him, I wager it's because he doesn't know. We all know he's gonna be like "drop your man then" if she says yes, if no he's gonna sperg. Let's pretend he doesn't creep on her and she says yes. It gains him nothing as a woman who's one of billions and off the dating table thinks he looks good.

At best it's an asspat, something he needs less of to start at worst it will trash what social interaction he's got. Also if she says she finds him attractive, he's going to build a new bubble of "women find me attractive but don't date me why is that?". He already has sold himself on women don't like nice guys. Now women don't like attractive guys.

Jamil seems to be turning around, and we shall see if it's an improvement spike or he's making a change, I fear Jamil has some depression issues too so he may slide at some point it's up to him if he stands up and keeps up with progressing or regresses.
 
Word. I really hope he didn't because there's no good that can come out of it. Well, outside of the girl telling Kent that he's extremely sexy and "if she didn't have a boyfriend, she'd be all over him", which I just can't imagine. That's the only possible good I could see--and even that would be a stretch with how Kent switches up on things. I think it's a given that she won't call him ugly, but it's just a terrible idea.

As for Jamil, I just think better influences would work wonders for him. When you're admiring Kent for doing something as trivial as giving your # out to girl working at a stand, you know there has to be better.
 
Sadly with Kent's tendency to be self destructive, and "stay on the path" he probably did, it's win win for his victim hood. While we are looking at it from the mind of reasonably grasps on sanity and social interaction.

To Kent, she says yes, women don't like good looking guys, there has to be another metric. She says no "I'm ugly it's not my fault" In your very un plausible situation by your own wording not trying to insult your theory all he gets is an asspat. That doesn't help him.

Jamil got some #s today, he's doing work. @Darwin Watterson said, this friendship won't last. Jamil still has struggles in life and going farther but this is an upswing for sure. Kent's big "victory" was forcing his # on a girl, Jamil got a girl to want him to have it.

Forgive the double posting, and I'm just sitting to dinner so caps will be delayed and with my cold I don't think I have enough for a caps in me. If a fellow citizen of Kent Paradise can handle them for me I'd be ever so grateful and sacrifice a goat to your honor.

- Kent's rocking the safety colors with a bright green shirt.

- He "dramatically" bows his head for about ten seconds before speaking. Kent's here to let us know that he'll be taking a break from YouTube. The reason is not trolls, but "other things in [his] life that [he] needs to get in order." As usual, Kent won't go into detail because he doesn't want to put his "personal personal personal business" out there. He assures us that he'll come back, but he doesn't know when. He has some "personal stuff" going on, and feels that he shouldn't be making any videos while that's going on. My guess? Mama Kent is getting more aggressive in her hounding of her son to get a job. Either that, or Jamil's recent successes have caused him to sperg out and get depressed.

- Kent appreciates his 1,700-odd subscribers supporting him, but he's going through some stuff, mentally, that prevent him from doing videos. He mentions his depression, and "other things" that he refuses to discuss. It's difficult for Kent to be happy.

- Kent acknowledges that nobody gives a shit about his sports videos. He realizes that most of his subscribers just want to see him rage and "ramble about women." Yes, he actually says "ramble about women." Seeing as how his sports get about 100 views, Kent the math wiz states that "at least 100 of you like football." Thanks for that, Kent. I wouldn't have guessed.

- Kent hopes to do a video with his female friend when he comes back. He's mentioned before that she doesn't have a video camera, and her phone sucks. I'm guessing that's an excuse she gave him.

- He keeps using the phrase "I really need to get some things in order." I'm assuming this is meant to make him sound more "grown-up." He's probably just going to be sitting in his room playing vidya for a week.

- He possibly refers to @Liquid Kent by mentioning having people impersonate him and steal his videos.

- He mentions working towards getting to where he wants to get to in life. I thought he was going to say "getting a job" at first, finally confirming what we all knew. But alas. He'll keep his Instagram up, but probably won't post anything.

- "Blah blah blah rejection, blah blah blah true forced loneliness."

- 2015 has been a rough year for Kent. The deaths of his grandma and his dog apparently come second after deleting channels due to trolls, though. Nice no see where Kent's priorities lie. The only good thing about this year was his trip to Seattle. He still plans to move there. He plans to move there in at least three years to start a new life.

"I need to save my money, 'cause you can't live for free"- Kent, 2015. Thanks for that little piece of life advice, Kent!

- Kent asks his fans to pray for him, and hopefully God will answer Kent's prayers. Immediately after, he swats at one of Our Lord's creatures, a "stupid fly."

- His repeated use of the phrase "come back from YouTube" bugs me. It should be "come back TO YouTube."

- He says "woman" but corrects it to "fee-mayle." Never change, Kent.

- He's still seeing his therapist and is trying to get the help he needs. That's good.

- Kent, the person who claims to be a "nice guy," yet goes onto a forum to threaten to kill people, hates people who are "two-faced."

- Kent finds about ten different ways to say the phrase "walk the walk, and talk the talk."

- He's going to keep his videos up "for history, forever." He thanks his subscribers for support, and never thought he'd get to nearly 2,000 subscribers. But he doesn't appreciates "people on those forums," and we can go screw ourselves. Honestly, we're probably the reason he's gotten the subs he has.

- Kent is bold enough to put his face on the internet and talk about his issues.

At about 26:29, I got bored and quit watching. If someone else wants to cap the rest, start from there. Sorry, but 43 minutes is more than this humble fish boy can stand.

Kent believes he needs to take a break from Youtube. Not because of the trolls, but so he can get other things done in his life. He doesn't want to go into too much detail because he want his information out there. He's still suffering depression and it's very difficult for him to be happy about anything in life. He's nowhere near as happy as he used to be since a lot of things have changed since then. Mostly everyone subbed to him don't really care about his videos where he talks about what he likes, such as the NFL and WWE. Most of those videos barely get 100 views. The majority only want to see him rage and complain about women. Kent can't believe out of his 1,000+ subs, no one cares to watch his other videos.

Kent's hopes he can do a video with his female friend when he returns to Youtube. The one who's thinking about starting her own channel. Kent's trying to take it easy. Throughout his time on Youtube, he's dealt with people making troll accounts of him, impersonating him, stealing his videos and reuploading them so they can laugh at his rage. None of them were trying to help him. Thinks it's a ridiculous and gives more reason to him needing a break from Youtube. He didn't even recap WWE Raw, so he's done making videos for awhile. He's hurting and really trying to find the right path. He's going to keep his Instagram, but might not post much on there, either. He needs to take care of the important things.

Still feeling rejected and unwanted from women because he suffers from True Forced Loneliness. He's lonely, has been lonely his whole life, and no woman has ever given him the time of the day. Kent cannot take rejection well; it's one of his flaws and he just doesn't like it. The 2015 yr has been very rough for Kent. He's deleted like 3 or 4 channels in the past because of people trolling him. Losing his grandmother and dog made it even worse. So far, the only thing he's enjoyed this yr is his trip to Seattle. Outside of that, everything has been hell for him. Kent still wants to move to Seattle, but he has to save up before doing that. He gives it about 3 yrs before moving there. Wants a new life and a new beginning meeting new people.

Kent feels very hopeless and hopes things will get better. Hopefully he'll be close to getting a girlfriend on a girls # when he returns to Youtube. Some progress. Just one woman who will accept him for who he is and give him the time of the day. Kent has women he talk to as friends, but it'll be good if he could go out and have a romantic dinner. His past experiences with rejection make it hard for him to try with those women. He's still seeing a therapist and trying to get help for his depression. Kent just wants to be happy and nothing more. He's not happy, not where he wants to be, and believes taking this break will help him. Associating with the right people is also important, since he doesn't want fickle or two-faced people in his life.

Kent eventually starts to go in circles. Talks about people subbing to him for entertainment purposes. He doesn't like it. Kent thanks those who are really behind him. Kent is not an ungrateful person and understands that there are others who have it way worse than him. At least he understands that.

Darwin summed it up far better than I ever could.

Since we may be on a dry spell, I propose a question, Say Kent gets a female to give him the time of the day, they have their date she's not at all what Kent wants, insert what ever cliche you want, a spoiled brat, an air head etc. Does he still push forward? He's ok with having standards now and I think we all agree if he went on a date didn't hear back that would be as bad as a school bus fire.

I'm just wondering is his TFL deep enough he'd take anything that comes to him? I'm not sure and I think his personality gives a lot of hints to both yes he'd take anything but after breaking that barrier he may be able to shake off a bad match.
 
I personally think Kent would next her. I mean, he's shown to be pretty adamant on the "no kids" thing with women, regardless of how pretty and cool they are. Even when you take his desperation into consideration, I really don't see him giving an inch if the woman doesn't meet his personal standards. Kent just seems like one of those guys who'd rather stand by what he likes no matter what rather than go against it--even if he could get a potential relationship or sex out of it.

He broadcasts exceptionally high standards, but I get the impression that, like Chris, he'd settle for pretty much anything. Especially since Kent stresses that the first woman he dates will be the woman he marries and spends the rest of his life with, Kent won't settle for anything less than his fairy tail romance. He'd look past things he dislikes entirely or find ways to excuse them, like he does for himself, and would get mad at anyone who said anything less than perfect of her. She'd be a trophy, and an extension of his own ego.

I also wonder what if Kent found a woman who actually liked him, and they got together perfectly, what would he focus on afterwards? His only quest for the last few years has been his love quest, and even Chris had dreams of becoming a multimillionaire comic book artist with Sonichu. If he had a girlfriend, what does he obsess with? He wouldn't be content, not at all--someone with is problems is always looking for something to obsess over that is just out of reach. So what would it be? Getting a job? Finishing his Criminal Justice degree that he has talked about wanting? Moving to Seattle? The list goes on.

I think he's going all in, even if he doesn't like the chick later on. At least this will be the case with the first woman who gives him a chance, because he wants to turn in his v-card.

I doubt he will reject her since he's too desperate for a woman. All signs point that Kent blindly falling in love with her, and the woman will have all the power in their relationship.

Much like his hats, his girlfriend would just be an extension of himself and merely an object.

I posted The Joker's "dog chasing cars" video on Jamil's page, but it's true...these guys wouldn't know what to do with a girlfriend if they got one...or worse, they'd rush headlong into things that a woman would need a little time to prepare for/think over (sex, marriage, etc). Going too hard, too fast in a relationship is a killer.

Oh goodness, I'm not sure if the cold meds helped or made that video worse, I'm sure the sheer amount of time wasn't helping either.

Yes, neither of them have much a grasp what a relationship is really like and that gets nasty fast, sometimes you can be quick emotionally and psychically. For how old fashioned I can be, I don't think at all it's ever something should be in stone, or on a time table. If it feels right and both parties are ok, just go with it. You have to be open and honest about what you want, and always sadly the slower party sets the time table.

I'm lost how or why it'll take 3 years min to get to Seattle for Kent, it worries me a bit as he's down to that on his self imposed no gf an hero clock.

Kent mentioned last week he's got lost of "pre recorded" vids he was gonna host. I wonder if he will and if they really were. I also chuckled at only 100 people like foot ball. Kent is fully aware many of us would watch them if he put some more work in them. He told me to kill myself for suggesting a script. I honestly think Kent is better than half the clowns on ESPN, his style of dress would fit well he's not the best un prepared and he'd be taken alive on call in shows but a football pod cast may work if he studied a bit. He clearly studied the sport a bit himself so I don't get why not putting some more work would be a thing. Then again I'm trying to make logic out of Kent. While I'm not a huge football fan, I think if he got his act together he'd be able to pull more views than his other vids. Let's say they even match his other vids, that about doubles his income from YT. 5-10 mins work a week could get Kent to Seattle that much faster. Some dedication to the goal. Two reasons I think Kent would be successful with a good sports video, his current subs would be interested in watching him at the top of his game, logical, well thought out and coming at things with a plan. Normal Kent doesn't into logic, Football Kent can see things like how a good CB can make the game and what counters needed. Even those not in football would probably like to see Kent functioning and outthinking most, just for contrast sake. Reason two, every one does predictions etc and they all get watched, they are mostly awful. Kent's better than most, so people would watch as people watch the bad ones why not watch one of better quality, his get ups would add some spice to the vids too, also he's pretty amusing in a good mood.

It's really sad he considers this entire year bunk aside a long weekend. A lot of this is to do with he doesn't really do anything. Even when you don't have a good year, the more you do the easier the bad comes. Sometimes when you have a bad year it's the little things that keep you going and happy. I'm living it right now lol.

I have to agree with @Darwin Watterson Kent's gonna goof off for a bit then come back, he takes such pride in anything he does he'd be bragging about what moves he's gonna make or try. He even glorifies his short comings, ok if dude is on a job hunt that's not embarrassing even more coming from a man who said "I don't even know where to stick my penis" in regards to sex. Being unemployed in this market with no skills or education is a shame but pretty common, as long as you aren't a jerk about it most everyone will feel for you, but admitting sexual intercourse is lost to you not just not getting it but literally not getting it is something you should hide behind other skeletons in your closet lol.

The whole idea telling people you are going on hiatus just reeks of ego to me.

Sorry for the double post, but this is pretty great.

But while we don't have the earliest Kent videos, we do have some evidence that they existed and what they were like.

This is apparently a "parody" of one of his videos by a high school friend. It's undoubtedly about Kentray Brown -- it references "T.H.U.G.S." and the imitation of Kent's cadence is fucking uncanny.

Kent was obviously obsessed by god but there's a reference to seeking women too, suggesting that Kent's LoveQuest is now at least 4 years old.
