Looting is the best way to get mid-good gear (or just get stuff in this game) just go to the border zone between the HN and UC follow a samurái patrol until they get destroyed by a HN patrol and start looting you can get some good standar samurái armor with chainmail shirts and stuff. Also you can sell the loot and buy masterwork gear in store.
Crafting for me is more about roleplaying than anything.

Lo-fi hired a community manager. To me, this implies that they will be putting out more info about Kenshi 2 and that a release is on the horizon. Especially so when considering that Chris Hunt said the reason they were being especially tight-lipped about it was so they could keep their heads down and work on making the game.

I think that kenshi 2 will be slated for a 2027 release, so this makes sense.
 
Please, if there is a god above, please don't let Kenshi 2 be shit. I know the signs are there that it might be but this is one of the few games I'm holding out hope for.
