Moses, Superman, Dante, Herman Hesse, Arthurian legend, the founding of Australia, the Holocaust, not to mention his penchant for making every parental figure insufferable assholes. It’s one thing to tip the hat to pop culture or history; quite another to lift it and claim it as yours. It can be done, and done brilliantly, but not in the hands of Ken Penders.

Pretty rich for Ken to talk shit to Ian about playing in the world he “built.” Not that Ian’s made the perfect story either. The Tasmanian Devils being wiped out by a group of echidna Mengeles was… cringe.
