🎨 Artcow Ken Penders - Former Archie Sonic Comic Writer/Artist

Little did Ken know, most of the Sonic fanbase was already on the spectrum; he'd been writing stories for them all these years unknowingly.

It's true that there is a strange attraction to Sonic from autists, but they don't need any character representation specifically for them, they'll manage to find a way to obsess and identify with any character that catches their fancy.
 
Somehow it never would have occurred to me that Penders has a thread here. It belongs. Wish he would keep making so-bad-its-good films like the republic and his other trailer, but that would require him doing something other than talking shit about Trump on Twitter all day

Penders doesn't really have the pull of someone like Chris. Him managing to cling on to some Sonic characters he made for Archie is wild. But mostly hes just a twitter boomer (unless his causing an uproar on Twitter about his skunk cucking Sonic).

His antics have caused me plenty of laughter over the years. He is beyond a boomer. The guy is so incredibly out of touch and basically keeps teasing uncanny valley donut steals of Sonic as original work. His film company is even called Floating Island Productions and the two things to come out of it land somewhere between Breen and Wisaeau. His work itself is hacky at best and autism fuel for people like Chris at worst. Where most comic artists let go of licensed titles they do when they move on to another project, Penders has never let go of his side stories for SatAM Sonic or Star Trek. And yes, like other hacky Comic artists he spends more time on Twitter than he does doing literally anything else, except he hasn't released anything in years.

This sperg had caused the meltdown of many a Sonic fan. There was a deviantart group that actually worshipped his sorry ass. That was years ago. Now? I doubt anybody even cares anymore.

No way, is this how he sketches his preliminaries?!

No action line, no basic shapes to define volume and structure, no underlying anatomy? Just a scribbled in rat's nest of piled up lines to guesstimate the outline of the characters? No wonder his art is so awfully misshapen. I knew the guy was a hack but to such an extend that he doesn't apply the very basic techniques of drawing. Wow, I'm impressed.

Archie Sonic had some truly bad art through it's lifetime, ManyHands comes to mind, but I'm still impressed by how shit Ken is after all these years
