I don't understand people who overshare their lives on twitter, but think they can selectively keep it a secret. Even if mom isn't on twitter-- doesn't she go to the grocery store? Is she completely cut off from everyone?

Home! Jen! Chompyyyy!! I have a wheelchair as well, but I have this scooter so that I can go outside if nobody is home to carry my wheelchair down the stairs, so I can just get down the stairs on my own and use the scooter! (Obv here Jen is pulling me in parts of this vid! FUN!!) So while it is hard adjusting to everything, I'm trying to figure out what I CAN still do!!! there are obstacles of course, like I can water the garden, but I still have to figure out how to get into the little garage area to turn on the hose on my own, so somebody will have to turn it on for me for now, but I will work out those kinks in time I'm sure! Right now I'm just enjoying fresh air, home my own bed and.... Umm the bathroom door doesn't shut all the way with the WC (wheelchair) I'm using right now, but when my custom made chair is ready, it fits in the bathroom and the door will be able to shut, but for now whatever I do in the bathroom is as fast as I possibly can LOL! Did I hallucinate that Kelly posted a story directing new followers to her old account for her “full story,” and then she promptly took it down (probably realized that would make her look worse, not better)? Cute.
 
She's got fresh, healing stumps and she's tromping along right on the ends. The destruction of those surgeries has already begun.
 
What is she wearing under those shorts? Not the compression things on her legs, but her underwear. It looks like those plastic pants that 50’s moms used as diaper covers before disposable were a thing. You can see the waistband above her shorts.

I suppose scooting around on a plywood skateboard like an Indian begger to hopping up the stairs on your ass would be uncomfortable and butt padding may be warranted. However, I’ve never seen any that look like whatever garment she wearing.

And if it is for comfort, why doesn’t she have some leather fingerless gloves to protect her hands from cement?

I mean, with Kelly you’d expect she wants nothing protected, so the hands are understandable which leaves the question of undergarments. Maybe I’m overthinking and she just has old boxers lying around.

I’m wondering if there are any circumstances in which I might have a traumatic double amputation and post videos like those. And while my mind says there is nothing (for a non-munchie) to be ashamed up, I think it’d take until never to post a video of me pulling myself up the stairs or on a rolly plywood platform. Well, we can’t judge cows by what we’d do but waiting for a wheelchair seems the way to go as you adjust.

She may not have the strength to do that, and honestly it looks like her arms may not be long enough to do that without scraping her lower back on the steps as well. Not saying what she's doing is a good idea either, and I feel like this is something that was never mentioned to PT so she wasn't actually shown how to safely get up/down steps like that.

I think that's just the pants waistband above pockets? It honestly looks like scrubs with frayed 'cut-offs' to me. And most people wouldn't really do something like this to begin with (meaning scoot around on a janky piece of plywood with freshly sawed-off legs) but even a pair of work or garden gloves would be a cheap option,

And she already has a basic wheelchair there, you can see it in the shot when she's going up the steps inside, she says she has the scooter thing because she "can't carry her wheelchair downstairs when she's alone" but a normal person probably would know better than going outside like that if no one was home to help if something happened.

I also just want to point out that the bolts holding the wheels on are not counter-sunk. They sit above the wood in 4 places at each corner, and she has no padding, not even a towel over the top of them. I'm betting the wood wasn't sanded or sealed either, so ass-splinters/cuts from the screws when?

Lazy eye can be "fixed" by wearing glasses with a prism in the lens that pulls the eye back towards center and reduces the vision doubling a lot of people who have strabismus or related conditions experience. It can be helpful if the affected eye is weaker too, the lenses can correct the vision which prevents the brain from ignoring the signal from that eye to make the visual processing easier which is a real risk. A lot of people who have that particular condition find out that their brain is only accepting input from one eye. Even if that's not the case and her vision is fine, she can still get prism lenses from the doctor that will make her look normal.

Would prism lens work to fix the cosmetic portion if there’s no communication from eye to brain? My understanding is that Kelly is way past the age of remedying the cosmetic part of her lazy eye.

I was born with significantly decreased vision to my R eye. Growing up in rural BFE, my parents took me to every eye doctor in our region until someone suggested we patch my eye at 6. I was patched for about a year (IIRC) but didn’t gain any vision in my R eye. All it did was encourage or train my R eye to mimic the behavior of my L eye m so I didn’t have an obvious lazy eye. I’m now around Kelly’s age and have been firmly told I will never recover vision because (as you mentioned) communication from my R eye to my brain stopped years ago and needed to be diagnosed before I was ten (which didn’t help me regardless because I was patched at 6).

I was just reading the delusional posts there, I mean I know it's Reddit and posting ridiculous asspats is the most basic form of virtue signaling for updoots, but the endless "she finally looks at peace, good for her!" posts are nauseating

Of course she's happy, she gets to be 100% dependent on people and be literally dragged around by them. I'm sure the inevitable infected stump saga will be met with the same level of reddit cope too, she'll be even happier once she gets hacked up to the hips and gets a few more weeks of cat ladies validating how brave she is

It’s literally just the waistband on her shorts. You’re very much overthinking it. I’ve seen that style of waistband on shorts hundreds of times.

Definitely wondered how long the satisfaction would last for her when I saw the amputation photos. She might stall for a while now that everyone can visibly see she's disabled and stare in awe at her self-harm everywhere she goes. Plenty of attention.
