My tin foil hat is on, but I know that Kelly has been/is still on painkillers. Do we think she just numbs out and picks for the munchie points? I literally cannot imagine how much pain anyone with necrosis that severe could be in. Honestly surprised her body isn’t in shock/septic by now.
 
I almost wonder if she's using black salve/cancema to make her legs look like that.

Don't Google it if you're eating, but then again, nothing to do with Kelly should be done when you're eating.

I doubt she would numb herself to pick at her skin because I think it's a form of self harm. She went straight from cutting to picking. Part of self harm is being in control of your pain so probably wouldn't give any release without it. I fully believe that she has built up a tolerance to this kind of pain anyway because she'll happily pose and post her meat pictures but she wasn't really coping well after her skin graft surgery so I'm thinking part of that was that she wasn't in control.

Then again, at this stage she has done so much damage to her skin her nerves probably don't work properly in large areas of her legs.

It's alllll about the attention with her. As I think I may have mentioned before I'm pretty sure she's not an actual compulsive picker, it's just her means to the ends (the ends being the attention). If she can't get away with the picking (which she couldn't when monitored) she just switches it up to ripping out her fillings or something similar.

On that note I would like to say that for something like compulsive picking there wouldn't be a withdrawl kinda state anyway, since unlike cutting there's no adrenaline or endorphins released when you pick.
It's more like making it to work and suddenly wondering if you left the oven on.
You know you didn't, you know it's fine but all day it's nagging at the back of your mind and you have no relief until you're suitably distracted or can check to see that it is in fact off. You don't really crave tearing off your own skin just like you don't crave the anxiety of leaving your oven on, it just triggers when the circumstances call for it, which in the case of most compulsive pickers would be when they find a pimple, cyst, ingrown hair or some kind of bump that they need to remove.

I imagine she's in quite of bit of pain, but she's proven plenty of times before that she'll bite the bullet and bear it for the results she wants. She's said doctors have accused her of being a pill chaser before (although I suspect this is due to her doctor shopping so much and they don't realize it's to get the diagnosis she wants, rather than any particular meds) which, if true, means she would be limited in what they'd be willing to send her home with.
She very well could self medicate with any number of legal or illegal substances, but it wouldn't shock me in the least to find out she doesn't and that her pain tolerance is just super high after years of munching.
 
I've worked with skin pickers what she does is beyond a normal skin picking compulsion and her areas are very specific and defnied which I've never run into with those type of compulsions.

Oh baby, what a fucking waste.

Kelly is one of those people that folks who are not into universal healthcare bring up. Just a waste of resources. Honestly let her pick and fuck up her legs until infection takes her at this point. Even if her legs were amputated she would pick the fucking stumps.

Welp, I made this mistake. I know, I was warned. I am honestly curious as to why a product like this exists.... wtf. But it does look similar...

I don't remember how I found Kellys page, but I do remember at one point really feeling badly for her. Then she started screenshotting here and that is how I found this forum (thanks Kelly). I remember her once saying (maybe on her tumblr??) something along the lines of "haha im famous!" On instagram she does such a good job at the poor poor me, then on her other pages she is full out bitch. It showed her motives in this. She just wants attention. All of it. Any of it. I cannot imagine living life like that. How lonely and desperate one must be to literally destroy your legs in hopes for a few likes on instagram.

In other news -- I can't get the thought of what her legs sound and smell like when she moves. Thanks @DietMtnDew 🤮

If she wasn’t using it before you made this post, she’s certainly looking up how to get hold of it now.

I worry about these threads sometimes, because they often help munchies munch better.

Kelly is someone who obsessively checks here every 5 mins so you are 100% correct.

People always point out her wounds are only ever in easy to reach places. If she starts having them in other areas, we all know why.
 
im going to gently stroke my legs tonight and tell them i love them.

well she doesnt have a leg to stand on anyways so why not go full on badshit and let them amputate you

She did at one point have the finger hole type wounds all the way up to her hips at one point and then it was mentioned in the thread that she might both of her legs all the way up to there and her wounds miraculously began to localize to her shins. You can still see scars further up on some of her photos. They look a bit like small bruises but are the same shape and color as the smaller scars which are visible on the close photo of her swollen cankle and foot.

She's been involuntarily committed to the hospital. I looked up the doctor who signed off on it, and he's a general practitioner. So, in other words, a medical doctor has caught on to her insanity and is forcing her into some kind of mandatory medical care. This should get interesting.

From what I can tell, the doctor's handwriting says: "I have been notified by Dr. Dwight (?) that Ms Ronahan is in danger of life (?) - She needs urgent care of leg wounds. She is not consenting to (?). Will not (?)." If any of you are able to make out his illegible chickenscratch, please do so.

And for those who can't read the fine print on the left side, or for those of you who are too lazy, it basically outlines the purpose of the form. It is used for people with a "disorder of the mind" who require treatment in a special facility and who cannot be submitted voluntarily.

shes claiming she would do this volunity but the drs are on powertrip. im guessing its so they can put the mitts on her and make her take her take her meds. And maybe try therapy with her.

I believe what Dr. Hamm wrote is that Dr. Dwight Fer-something (Ferris, maybe?)--who is an infectious disease specialist and sent his message through a nurse named Heather--advised Dr. Hamm that our Vampire Munchie "is in danger of life/limb," as in losing a limb. Later on it looks like "She is not consenting to (?, maybe "ad", short for admission?) without (?, I'm at a loss on this word still).

If I may combine these and give it a whirl (underlined words are my best guesses from the cut off portions):

I have been notified by Dr. Dwight Ferris (infectious disease) and Dr. Heather Wilson that Ms. Ronahan is in danger of losing life/limb. She needs urgent care of her leg wounds. She is not consenting to admission, will if mandatory
 
"Forced me to endure what I tried to initiate"- good god Kelly, you're a parasite. Why would you be upset by receiving lifesaving medical care? Oh right, it's because the doctors won't let you run your scam anymore. Either play by the rules or die.

July is going to be interesting. Are we in for an #asylumsaga, or will she try to run from this and swiftly die from infection?
 
Does Kelly think everyone following her is stupid? They're involuntarily committing you, obviously they're not gonna commit you for treatment you 'already tried to initiate', there's no point. It's involuntary, meaning its something you wouldn't consent to- so the treatment must be something you dont want. I know that's just spelling it out for babies there, but that's what it feels like she thinks the mentality of her followers are if she thinks they're gonna believe this level of bullshit lmao. It sounds like they have realised she is interfering with her wounds, so they need to treat them under observation and figure why she keeps doing it- which is good, but god i feel for those doctors who are gonna have to deal with her.

I doubt she'll have access to her phone for long if she's going inpatient psychiatric. Some places will let you, sure, but if shes not consenting to treatment i would see them saying she can't have her phone until she has the treatment. Phones are privileges in that sense, and they hold all the reigns when it comes to her treatment now. I wonder if they're aware of her instagram? If so, they definitely wont let her have access to it as it shows very clearly how much of this screams "self inflicted for munchie attention," and letting her continue doing that would be enabling her behaviours.

Also, primo doctor's handwriting right there, love it. What is it with doctors and shit handwriting? Do they teach you it in medical school or something lmao?
