That level of severity when it comes to lesions in Behcets is really rare, I'm sure a doctor would be jumping at the chance to study it. Most people just get redness, not extreme bed sore levels of skin erosion like Kelly seems to have. Also, departments talk to each other. If psych have their suspicions about her, shouldn't her other consultants have record of that sent to them? I would want to know of my patient's mental health could have a detrimental effect on the skin graft I worked my ass off to place.

Maybe I'm just overly optimistic, but I find it really hard to believe she has all these doctors wrapped around her little finger at this point when she's been in and out of hospital as much as she has.

Her instagram is private now, but she did post “mouth sores” quite a while back, maybe like earlier last year some time. Though if my memory serves me correctly, it looked more like herpes than canker sores. She also claimed she had genital sores, and thankfully didn’t even attempt to show them. I believe she found this condition, latched onto the idea and shared symptoms of it to confirm the diagnosis. Because one minute, she was totally fine, and the next, she had full blown Behcet’s despite never having once complained of the symptoms. And it supposedly took her doctors almost no time to make the diagnosis. I do remember her having like one skin biopsy and BAM - Behcet’s, that quickly progressed into the worst case ever seen in modern medical history.

As someone who gets canker sores frequently, I can attest to just how painful they are. And every time I get one (usually 2-3 at a time), I am continually amazed by how such a small area can cause such an intense pain. I could not imagine an ulcer anywhere else, especially genital ulcers. Walking? Even sitting?? At least they have OTC oral analgesics that end up numbing half your mouth and tongue when you need it, haha.

To be fair, we only have Kelly's word that she's been diagnosed with Behcet's, and Kelly wouldn't know the truth if it ran up and bit her. She could have acquired those immunosuppressant drugs to show off for the camera in any number of ways; doesn't mean she was ever prescribed them for Behcet's. Maybe for her skin grafts, if she has the doctors thinking her "ulcers" are being caused by her body rejecting them. Maybe she acquired them via the Internet; there's apparently Facebook groups and forums munchies use to "share" medications and accessories to help support eachother's fakery and malingering totally real and serious medical conditions.

If that’s the case, then I’m not sure where she’s getting the immunosuppressants she’s been posting all over her account. They could be fake, but I feel like if they were she would be less apt to be spreading them everywhere. Can anyone spot any editing on the picture of her Cyclosporine?

You can get hold of loads of medication online- troons have been ordering testosterone without prescription and being encouraged to do so by redditors for years. I don't think it's a stretch to imagine a munchie would do the same.

She's recently recovered from necrosis, I wouldn't think it would be safe to prescribe immunosuppressants so soon after especially now when her lovely new grafts now look like the black death, so my first thought was genuinely "i wonder where she ordered those from?"
 
I don't recall her posting mouth ulcers, but I don't at all doubt that she did, since she posts everything about her absolute worst most rare disease like totally ever. However, mouth sore, especially when there's many..... wouldn't that make her talking sound off? Make her not want to eat all of her lovely candy? My dad had terminal cancer, and got a lot of mouth ulcers from the chemo (also probably from puking from the chemo) and I remember his words were not as clear bc he had a shit load of sores, and also he couldn't eat. He said it hurt too bad. I remember trying to get him to even just have jello. Nope, that hurt. So her posts of candy and shit tells me mouth sores, while maybe were there, are not a constant. I'm honestly surprised though she didn't use her canker sore to chew threw her lip and have the worst case of mouth behcets ever in the whole entire world.

He’s a recurring character in her stories of her traumatic past. She claims that he pimped her out and also tortured her. She stated a few months ago that she and Paul were involved in some high-profile legal trial and that she had to be placed in a forensic psychiatric unit or something.

I honestly have no idea what the deal is there. I’ve tried searching for articles from that region that match up with the story, since she claims it was high-profile, but I’ve never found anything.

I don’t even know, if I could, if I would bother trawling through her entire feed since she posts so much just to find the photo(s), but I remember it looking a lot like cold sores. All around her mouth. I’ve never had a cold sore, so I don’t know if they’re painful. I couldn’t imagine trying to chew through a canker sore, though. Jesus, they’re painful enough on their own without fucking around with them. I’m also not a psycho, though, so.

Yes!!! I swear she started re/posting her face like that, and then claiming it was Behcet’s related. But those clearly aren’t canker sores. A lot of people get cold sores and canker sores confused, though, so no one was calling her out on it at the time.
 
Just discovered this thread and, wow. The craziest thing for me is how people predicted she would harm herself in some way, and wham! Four pages later she did exactly that. This woman seriously needs to be interned and supervised 24/7. She makes the Fit Vegan Ginger look like a paragon of sanity.

Kelly is fascinating because unlike other internet munchies who find a diagnosis/treatment that they want and start chasing it with laser focus, she throws shit at the wall and sees what sticks. She just harms herself in mind-boggling ways and then leaves it up to medical staff to figure out what's wrong with her this time. Other munchies get turned away by hospitals frequently because it's clear there's nothing wrong. Kelly seems to go to the same hospital every time and they can't turn her away because she's really done insane levels of damage to her body and put herself at risk of all sorts of gnarly deaths if they don't treat her.

She's the ER's equivalent of a terrorist with a deadman's switch.

At this rate, medical staff should just knock her out until the shit is healed. They'll confirm that her condishuns are a result of her being awake and fucking with her wounds, and she'll have a tragic "medically induced coma" to gloat about afterwards.
 
Every day I check this thread, I lose faith in the medical professionals in this world. I feel for all the patients that could be in actual need of a bed in hospital but can't because this lass thinks smearing shit into cuts on her leg is a fun passtime.

i looked up "nose ulcers" and the only things I can find appear to be related to Lupus, no mention of Behcets. However one interesting thing did pop up- a study on self induced nasal ulceration!

Speaking of, Kelly posted a totally normal picture of her holding a bunch of berries. Don't worry though - she was sure to get her scarred up arm in the shot awkwardly in case we forgot she used to single handedly run the hospital out of surgical staples on the reg.
