Kelly had her surgery in Kelowna. Kelowna isn't really a small town. It's a small-to-medium city, especially by Canadian standards.

Medical care in BC sucks in an underfunded, benign kind of way. With normal munchies this actually works pretty well. They don't say no, but they do say, "um, here, go on the wait list." And then the wait list takes several years and then they get put on a different wait listed. It's probably the best a bunch of conflict avoidant Canadians are going to be able to do.

Kelly otoh is committed. She is able to put herself into real medical peril on a regular basis, and "have you considered that you are a faking faker" is always going to come second to patching her up and getting her alive to the next crisis. Doctors aren't going to consciously undertreat people because they caused their own problems. If they did, we wouldn't be spending some obscene portion of our municipal and provincial budget in the same tiny area of Vancouver full of drug users.

With the number of serious mental illness related crimes, rising drug addiction and thousands of delayed surgeries and treatments following covid, it would be really nice if they took a few munchie case studies and looked at how they could avoid all of this. Likewise examining how 90% of psychiatric care facilities are full of frequent flyer meth heads and hopeless FAS cases that do nothing but breed and commit crimes.

We're starting to see the limit of the "medicine is blind" strategy. If you ignore the fact that these people put themselves into this peril, you are actually choosing to not have health care available for people who didn't actively put themselves in need of it.

It would be nice, but I cannot overstate how much this is not going to happen in my corner of the world. We have hospitals that are completely overrun with drug-related cases, have been for years, and if that means grandma has a heart attack in the hallway while she waits for 48 hours, oh well. It's a price they're willing to pay.

Suicide baiting on Christmas. Is she living in a medical facility, group home or rehab type place? They have minimal staffing around holidays so she’s lacking her normal amount of medical employee attention and I can’t imagine her family is excited to host her either.

Looks like someone's feeling lonely while their docs, nurses. slaves care takers and physiotherapists take time off for the holidays and needs that extra attention boost from the internet and what better way to be an internet victim than a hacking!
I assume that's what she's implying here or maybe she's pretending she's flooded with troll comments she has to keep deleting? I'm not sure there BUT I am sure that none of it is actually true. Congrats Kelly! You got attention from 7 whole kiwi farm users who peeked in today, Although that's probably not enough for you to not pick at your stumps, I will say you're ruining your own prosthetics arc when you do, so best to not push that too far just yet.
 
There are a lot of things going on where Kelly is right now. We're in a provincial state of emergency after flooding wiped out most or all of the access via land, interrupting supply chains in some pretty serious ways. We're having a massive COVID spike and no one can quite figure out what to do with it. Testing centres are so overwhelmed that some have shut down. Also there are a variety of other respiratory diseases going around, and since people can't get tested, they're just staying home with the respiratory issues until they pass. This is a terrible time to be looking for medical attention for anything less than a true emergency.

I've followed this thread for a long time, decided to go on a hunt. Does anyone remember more of her insta account names? She's posted some very odd things over the past week or so. I think she might be in care.

From what we saw of the fig1 leaks, the docs all knew she was self harming. I know how the procedure goes for surgeons in the US to "fire" a patient, but not in Canadia, if anyone can enlighten me.

This is old (call it mid 2000's), and also not Canadian but VA exp. Sorry in advance.
Personal XP/vaguely TMI:
Took care of a disabled veteran with sepsis from gangrene due to an infection that started in his toe, and that led to a surgical below-the-knee amputation, he was admitted via a 'checkup appointment', then in hospital for a total of about 4 days. IV Antibiotics, amputation, surgical 'revision' (further amputation) happened within the first 48 hours, next day was 'coming out of anesthesia/observation' and the last day was mostly just "is he able to poop" before being discharged. And this was a 65+yr old man with known 'complicating factors'

So basically sepsis will end pretty quick (usually, and in otherwise 'vaguely healthy' people despite co-morbidities) once they amputate the "source of infection". High-dose antibiotics followed by 'surgical intervention(amputation)' generally resolve the issue.

See I read that as her threatening to quit the internet, not suicide baiting. She could DFE or move to even more sock puppet accounts
