I think it's more of meming on the Skpetics considering they believe that people should be held accountable for stuff their supporters have done, so it's more of giving them a taste of what they put onto others really.

Fun fact: He tried strangling her while she was sleeping because he's too much of a pussy and a coward to do what he did while she was awake. How very beta of him.

After he killed his mom, he tried to make the crime scene look like a burglary attempt with the help of two friends he recruited. He also buried his mom's body in a fire pit behind a church. After being interrogated for several hours about the crime by police, he confessed to everything.
