Kathy Griffin was actually kind of funny in the 90s. She was no Chris Rock or Dave Attell, but she had some ability. I kind of doubt that she would've apologized for something like this, or been such a whining bitch about the fallout, back then.

Of course, she probably could've pulled something like this off better back when she actually had some relevance. I don't think I'd heard anyone talking about Kathy Griffin in more than 10 years before this happened.

It has been kind of fun watching the REEEEEEing of the 15-25 year olds who had never heard of her until that photo came out though.

He's stated that he's never felt more nervous than New Years with Kathy because every year is a mission to make him swear on live television.
 
Haven't heard a peep from her since Saturday. Either someone knocked some sense into her and she is now laying low for several months, or she is busy licking her wounds from her abject failure. For her own good, I hope she lays low until people forget about it in 6 months. From a selfish entertainment perspective, I hope she continues to double down blaming everyone else for what she did to her career.

A couple celebrities reached out to her to give her advice (Seinfeld, Alec Baldwin, Kevin Hart, Chelsea Handler, Jamie Foxx etc.) and most of them just told her to lay low and keep her head down for now.

Kelsey Grammer (token Republican and Trump supporter in Hollywood) in particular says that he doesn't understand the controversy and that her career will be fine in a few months.

I mean, I despise Trump as much as the next person, but even I wouldn't do something as stupid as Kathy did, and my life consists of me doing stupid shit.
