I wanted to bring this up but at the same time didn't want to derail how the thread is flowing.

She, to me, looks absolutely like someone who would be a drug user. Alcohol, weed, what have you. Only comes to mind because of the hair tricks video of them hanging out in a car at a park just seems strange to me. Her in that video, and being on stream just makes it seem like she's on something. Just sort of, not there?

Maybe shes bloating up from pregnancy, or lots of alcohol. Maybe has a big case of munchies since I believe Washington has shops and it's legal there. Possibly takes medication to keep her a bit more sane and the side effects make her just gone.

Just a thunk.

She also seemed "not there" during every DSP stream she's been on and in every clip I've seen of her own streaming.

Occam's Razor: she's just a weirdo with possible psychological difficulties. If she's on anything that makes her zoned it's something she's been prescribed long-term, though I'll admit there's a decent incidence of people with legitimate diagnoses either self- or legitimately medicating with marijuana.

My money's still on "she's just weird".

I think anti-depressants are more likely for her bloating up. Didn't DSP take a day or two off saying they had a doctors appointment or something last summer? Would also explain why DSP brings up things about depression randomly he's heard Kat talk about some things or maybe took 10 mins out of his busy schedule to google it and read wikipedia so he can pretend to care about her. Would also explain why she decided to settle for DSP and actually go through with a marriage instead of using him as a launchpad to the next guy instead of chaining herself to the Goutanic.

Kat has streamed before. I assume she isn't that stupid. Something was slowing her mind down.

She did explode the stress ball too. Could be some antianxiety med. I'm not really sure what the side effects of those are.

Considering that Phil loves to blow things out of proportion to his viewers and pretty much gaslight anyone he comes across to an extreme, he probably filled her head up with all kinds of junk to make her just on the edge. She seemed pretty normal(I guess)from briefly watching her play persona.

Maybe it's just being around him that gives off a shitty aura. Most likely off stream Phil does not act like on stream Phil and that can be a bit weird if you have ever been in those type of scenarios. The type where your friends instantly change their personalities based on who comes around and you can see from the sidelines of all the bullshit taken place.

She had the vibe of any 40 year old aunt on a handful of Xanax either for legit anxiety, or because people would notice if she was drinking, since the effects aren't dissimilar to a heavy buzz. Can't really focus, slow to react or comprehend, uninterested in anything not directed at her, no eye contact, pretty rapid comedown that can cause even bigger anxiety (explode the stress ball, freak out at Tevin on Halloween). It would be very easy for someone with her past to get a prescription.
 
My theory has always been that Khet is on benzodiazapenes (Valium, Klonopin, or Xanax).

Her behavior reflects that of a benzo user: her popping the stress ball; the vapid looks on stream where she stares into nothing; seeming out of it; the quick burst of anger from the smallest things; the high levels of anxiety (source: I struggled with benzos for a long time and I noticed a lot of her behaviors right away).

That would make the most sense. She seems lethargic and just as lazy as DSP. She comes from a troubled childhood where emotional and some physical trauma existed. She's had an unstable life up until she moved into the Gout Mansion where she's more a willing prisoner than a free person. She has all the telltale sign of a "behind the scenes" (DSP's favorite fucking word) drug addict.

Again, speculation but wouldn't surprise me. She can't be fully happy with her life. She left everyone and all she knew in a different state to move in with a guy she met on the internet and she's had to erase whatever online presence she had of herself promptly at the request of some fat asshole.

Regardless of what Phil says, life doesn't seem to be too gravy for either of them.

And let's not forget that DSP has a tendency to gravitate towards girls who have mental health problems. Maybe he even gave the remainder of Leanna's anti-anxiety pills to Khet when she moved in.

I believe Subaru Man actually addressed this, he said Kat's just somewhat of a sullen bitch who will shut down if whatever's going on doesn't interest her.
With Phil, she's never interested.

Jumping off of this, not only is there a lack of interest, but the few times we've ever seen her, that lack of interest turns into a general desire not to be anywhere else. I doubt Khet is particularly bright, but even she knows Phil's community is going to be a mixture of detractor memes that either call her a horse/gold digger/a cheater or reference her weird ass family stuff. Of course she's going to appear sullen and miserable. The only other things we really know about Khet come from pretty unreliable sources.

I don't think she has much of a personality though. She seems like she's just content to do her own thing and live as Phil's roommate. Leanna was actively trying to make Phil change. I certainly don't believe everything he said that was a result of Leanna's actions, especially the psot breakup stuff, but I do believe that he was actively scheduling time off to be with Leanna because she complained and was trying to save the relationship.

With Khet, there's really nothing that obvious which makes me think they barely spend anytime together, which she is perfectly okay with. He only invokes her name when he wants to deflect responsibility or do something he thinks would make him look bad to own up to. The one thing I can really think of that was a Khet decision is making Phil take a Tuesday off recently. That seemed legitimate just because of how he clearly was unhappy with the schedule change and made such a big deal out of it.

No way dood! Remember when Kat woke up and Phil was passed out downstairs? She freaked out and yelled for him and he got so startled he twisted his knee! She needs Phil to be by her side at all times.

I'd say "-2", close to absolutely.
We can say with certainty that Phil exaggerates, lies, interprets false information, fails to communicate on any level with any human being and has the attention span of a wet bread. There is a higher probability for this story:

Khet whispers him she would like if he has only eyes for her, as a simple flirt which isn't to be taken literally.

OKAY MAH FRIENDS. KHET LITERALLY TOLD ME I'M NAHT ALLOWED TO LOOK AT WOMEN EVER AGAIN. Sounds fair? Sounds good? Okay then.

Haven't played Judgement but assuming it's like Yakuza the dating games are usually played for laughs more then sexiness. It isn't like he's playing some serious dating sim you take the chick to play a few mini games and somehow end up fighting some goons bing bang boom mission complete. Pretty sure in Yakuza 0 he played the shit out of the phone sex game. The only difference in his life between then and now is Kat so whatever the reason is she has to be involved.

I haven't watched her playthroughs, but I literally just finished Persona 5. There are 9 different women you can date in that game, and you can date them all at once (to get a funny scene where they all get mad at you on Valentine's Day) if you choose.

It's pretty complicated to do so - it's essentially hanging out with each one enough times in the right place and saying the right things to get yourself to Rank 10 with them and then choosing to be in a relationship with them (you can also choose to not pursue a relationship with them even if you get to Rank 10 with them). Ranking up with them gives you special abilities and bonuses so it's a good idea to at least spend time with them to rank them up and make things easier on yourself.
