After some deep thinking on the "driving Kat to work" topic, I am starting to think differently.

I think Kat can drive just fine in the snow. The issue is with the car.

During the Leanna hospital incident, we remember the genuine concern Phil had for his car. Panda was in the emergency room and Phil was more worried about his BMW than his girlfriend. He called and texed her multiple times to make sute it was safe, where was it parked, did she give the keys to her manager, etc.

Phil has talked about the horrors of Connecticut and the snow. He complained about having to "shovel snow off his car". He is unwilling to do this task. He bragged about getting a garage with the Wakondo and never having to "shovel snow" off his car again.

This is already getting too long. To sum it up, Phil took Kat to work so he could get the car back home and in the garage so snow wouldn't get on it.

This sounds like some knee-jerk winter related PTSD from Phil. Makes me wonder how shitty the trade in value on his Connecticut BMW was, after he just left it sitting outside in the salt and snow all winter for a few years, when he did the BMW swap during the move? Instead of understanding he now just has some shamanistic idea that if falling snow touches your vehicle the demon Cost Me'Munny appears and instantly destroys the resell value of your vehicle. It always comes down to money with Phil.

Based on Dark's prestream today it seems likely Kat works at a smaller retail establishment, rather than Walmart or Kohls because he said her boss called her and said not to come in because of the weather because it was going to be slow. This kind of thing seems a lot more likely for a small botique place or mom and pop business, I've never heard of a big company like Walmart of Kohls canceling workers shift because they expect it to be slow.

This is actually already confirmed by Phil himself. The other day he said he was driving her to work because he didnt want his car sitting in the lot while she was working. He doesnt give a fuck about her safety, he cares about his stupid toyota corolla possibly being scratched by a plow.
