If I caught that correctly he has to play snort-taxi for Khet, again....

Did the horse lose her license? Maybe she got into a traffic stop and they found out that she isn't allowed to drive while on whatever horse tranquilizers she is/was on while appearing on the streams.

:stress: Khet, honey... you are threatening MUH BIZNIZ

DSP just said that Kat doesn't to have to work today because "her store" is closing down early due to the snow.

So yeah, she definitely works in retail, at some kind of store. Which... still could be anything. :chicken:

-late edit- I think DSP realized he gave more info than he wanted to give. He just talked about it again, but this time when he wanted to say "store", he stopped, uhh'd and said "where she's working" instead.

For archiving purposes, I've gone back and made a clip of both the first mention of the "store" and of him correcting himself just now:

Kat's "store" closes early today:

Kat's "st... uhh where she's working":

I don’t understand why he’s so afraid of telling people that Kat works in a store. If she’s dating Phil, clearly she isn’t that smart and probably doesn’t have anything aside from a diploma (if even that) so working retail is about as far as she can go. Which is a shame; that means unless she is putting nearly every penny into a bank account, she’s not getting out of Casa Del Snort any time soon...

He cares (correctly, imo) that detractors will get at him via her, I'm sure. Any info that's known about her day-to-day means some sperg will try and track her down.

I have no doubt that he doesn't give a shit about her own safety.

Phil is paranoid.

The detractors are out to destroy his raw gameplay empire, ruin his flawless reputation of a good Samaritan and rob him of all his heard-earned cash (which he busted his ass for btw).

He's meticulously calculating what to say (as always, of course, 10 years of experience behind the microphone made him pretty much a professional) and every detail he might mention will be used by the evil Kiwifarms trolls and detractors to destroy him.

Imagine he mentions where his soul-mate works. There would be coordinated strikes by weaponized autistic detractor units all over the area of Renton. His soul-mate would be in grave danger.

Phil has no time for that.

He has to deliver high quality playthroughs and raw unedited videos to his millions of viewers who are just dying to interact with him and support him.

I don't know why Phil keeps saying DVDs, he doesn't own any. He left all his DVDs at his condo for his dad to keep/throw away for him. He has about 500 Blu-Rays though. I don't know why it matters enough for me to mention either.

DSP is of an age that dvds came out at a pretty influential time in their life. It’s not uncommon for 30-somethings to refer to Blu-ray as dvd. It’s just habit. It’s further proof that DSP’s family had money and was able to afford a swanky new dvd machine when they came out. In the 90s a DVD player could run you almost a grand.

This explains why I haven’t been getting up in arms over the whole dvd thing like everyone else. He’s just swapping words, much like he does with interact and asking for money.

WRONG

My boomer father knows the difference between dvds and blurays, both from a name point of view and a technical point of view. He is not technologically savvy

He says dvds because he's an idiot. ALSO, to reduce the entertainment cost for detractors. Detractors are going to see a dvd library and chalk it up to throw out bins. Blurays, even when being thrown out, go for more. Blurays where I live can be +5-10 bucks on their dvd counterpart EACH.

Blurays cost more and are typically only worth it on movies that are filmed in high quality. So Groundhog day is an absolute waste to get on Bluray. Lawrence of Arabia is not.

I've been regularly trying to imagine why DSP was able to pay his quarterly estimated tax payments in 2017 but not 2018. If he was making equal or greater income- and he claims he was- the only explanation is that his expenses somehow increased by $1K a month. It just struck me that her bills (phone, car insurance, health insurance) would be like $850 a month.

If Kat has been working 20 hours a week for the last year and not paying any of her bills she has around $15K in the bank.

She could literally pay DSP's taxes for him.

Or leave and start her life over.

Lol So she's been there a year, and that would be about $10,000 over the course of the year. Despite the fact that Phil said "She has her own financial things to deal with" or whatever. What if he is so whipped he is paying all of her bills for her, and she is saving money to complete her master plan: Get this idiot DSP to pay for her stuff while she saves up, finds another man and moves out of the Gout Kingdom?

Is there a video of these "hair tricks" floating around somewhere? It keeps getting mentioned and I'm curious.

Bitch is from Michigan. She might not be able to drive in snow but she should have experience with it.

Likely DSP doesnt trust her with the Corolla.

Edit: this also means she can't leave work without coming straight home under his supervision.

Bear in mind that areas of the country that don't consistently get snow in the winter can be pants-on-head-retarded in treating their roads appropriately when they do. Snow and ice is a lot easier to deal with even as an experienced driver when plows have been going and dropping salt all day. That's also assuming the state/local has the resources to do it. Considering it's highly questionable that the bitch had a driver's license before she came to Washington she might not have had any snow driving experience at all.

Also I'm fairly certain she's been using his car regularly on her own. Him chauffeuring her due to the snow is a new thing.

He's called DryvingSnowPhil for a reason.

No, why is the guy who sits at least 6/7 days in a shielded safe house more capable of driving in snow than someone who drives the same route twice a day?

After some deep thinking on the "driving Kat to work" topic, I am starting to think differently.

I think Kat can drive just fine in the snow. The issue is with the car.

During the Leanna hospital incident, we remember the genuine concern Phil had for his car. Panda was in the emergency room and Phil was more worried about his BMW than his girlfriend. He called and texed her multiple times to make sute it was safe, where was it parked, did she give the keys to her manager, etc.

Phil has talked about the horrors of Connecticut and the snow. He complained about having to "shovel snow off his car". He is unwilling to do this task. He bragged about getting a garage with the Wakondo and never having to "shovel snow" off his car again.

This is already getting too long. To sum it up, Phil took Kat to work so he could get the car back home and in the garage so snow wouldn't get on it.
