Phil could have done the same with Leanna likely cheating on him, but he never did. The perception of cucks has changed a lot in 7 years, though.

I think Phil will do anything to keep Kat there as a Mature Adult status symbol and brush off everything outside of that.

If you listen to how he talks to her on stream---like a child---I don't think he's scared of her at all. But what he would be afraid of if they broke up is her getting pissed and going on some detractor show to tell everyone all the shit Phil lies about. Of course it's debatable how much she knows and she seems fully pignotized, but Phil would lose what's left of his mind if Kat ever turned on him.

However, whether Phil wanted her fat and lazy or not, the fact she's gained 100 pounds and has all sorts of "behind the scenes" problems makes her leaving a lot less likely. She seems content to have a place to live and a lot to eat.

According to Phil and evidenced by the events of the Emergency Room Incident, after he and Leanna broke up, Phil continued to let Leanna live in the condo, drive his BMW, and he paid for her phone.

According to Phil's infamous debunk stream, their relationship was a farce for years. As many detractors had speculated, the relationship was more father/daughter.

Leanna even posted about having to lie to her coworkers and buying herself a fake engagement ring to make the lie more believable.

So Phil did keep her around to pretend that he had a girlfriend. That's exactly what he would do with Kat if things went south.

Phil better make sure his mortgage payments are number one priority
Kat came for the free room and board in a house in a gated community.
shes not gonna move in with him into a studio apartment
if he loses that house, she’s divorcing him.
she may even be able to get some spousal support out of it. Phil bitching about alimony will be glorious.
 
As long as Skyrim and Doordash can be provided, I think she will be content. With all the broken toilets, showers, garbage disposal, rooms full of boxes/garbage, etc, I don't think the Wakahndo is that important or desirable to Fat Kat.
 
I meant that Phil didn't use Leanna probably cheating on him for pity.

I agree that Phil would keep Kat or any woman around as long as he possibly can, despite getting cucked.

Before Kat came on stream, there was the #TeamDivorce shit from Doody and people reasonably assuming Phil would pretend he's still with Kat even if she left.

What would Kat even reveal about Phil on a detractor show? That he’s autistic and bad with money? Like nigga we know. He spends more time on his stream than with her.
 
Khet isn't exactly like Phil, but the two are similar, and I think their complete lack of romantic desires is a shared trait. We can't apply normal relationship logic to either of them. Leanna was ultimately unhappy because she had more traditional desires, like actually leaving the house. Khet, much like Phil, seems pretty happy playing house. She can lie and delude herself into thinking she's a productive and mature adult because she has a home, a husband and a job. Those are all things successful and mature adults are supposed to have. She just ignores the fact the home is a middle unit condo that's filthy and filled with broken appliances, her husband is someone she maybe spends a few hours with each week and sleeps in a separate bed from her and her job is a basic store clerk who only works around 20 hours a week.

Basically, Leanna was unhappy because she had standards and wanted something from her life. That's why the older she got, the more the mask lifted and she realized what life with Phil was like/how unusual her relationship was compared to other people. She was also actively trying for the last year or so to make things work with Phil, and Phil was pretty vocal about it because Phil always overshares. It doesn't sound like Khet has ever nagged him to have a date night or anything. And it sounds like the few conversations they have is basically shared venting about whatever minor grievances annoy them, followed by watching other YouTubers and playing mobile games. I think they talk at, not with, each other, and probably don't really listen to what the other person is saying.

Khet has a history of cheating since that's basically how she met Phil, but think about how that actually played out. She wasn't cheating because she wanted sex, otherwise, she'd have picked someone who was actually local, not all the way up in Seattle. I don't think it was entirely her being a gold digger either. While she wants Phil for the fact he can provide her with food and a place to live, I think she also wanted an enabler who would fully support her hermit lifestyle while also pretending she's a mature adult without her having to actually do anything.

Oh, dude! Phil punked out when Leanna confronted Phil wanting an apology. Mr. Internet tough guy looked like he was gonna shit himself from fear, having flashbacks of Jaha wanting to beat his ass. Phil is a spineless turd! Phil can only confront people online, but in person, the excuse is gonna be what he gave Jaha "Please don't beat me up! I was drunk when I wrote that! I''ve got problems!" Even if he had the piece Khat had in Michigan, I highly doubt he knows how to use it.
 
I also think adding "divorced" to his resume terrifies some part of DSP that still thinks he's an upstanding moral Catholic man.
