Kat has serious mental issues due to her horrible childhood and probably drug issues that caused her legal problems. She bounced from lots of sketchy places to live throughout her life. She's one of those women, if you provide her a safe place to live, you have a wife. She doesn't seem to enjoy doing anything, so all this is why her and Phil are a perfect arrangement.

Kat and Jenna only saw each other sparsely in family gatherings as children. They effectively are strangers. Jenna inserted herself into Phil drama because she saw it as a potential way to get money and simps. I guess she was successful with the Kool-Aid guy.

She also gets to live in a solidly middle class gated community something she's never been able to do in her life. She spent her 20s going from shithole apartment to shithole apartment some of which were in very sketchy areas of Michigan. So she not only gets to work part time, never has to touch or fuck Phil, gets all the doordash she wants and can play Skyrim all day. She has zero reason to leave Phil until the snortfort gets foreclosed on.
 
Did anyone else think it’s interesting how Phil’s horse (according to DSP himself!) apparently didn’t know about his internet issues till today when she came home?

When it has been going on for over a month?

So much for all the meaningful private time they spend together, lol! Khat doesn’t have the first clue about what’s going on in his life.

Have you SEEN what she looks like these days?!

The only other men interested in interacting with her, besides Phil, would be folks from the fish and wildlife department. And perhaps some sort of weirdo with a feeder fetish.

Came here to make the same observation. I attributed it to Phil just wanting a "And Khet agrees with me" kind of thing. The alternative is pretty pathetic for a supposed loving marriage.

Both pathetic and sad, really.

I’m really leaning more and more towards the “Phil is hella autistic” school of thought.

And I think this would be a good example of autist Phil trying to LARP a mahture ahdult human.

He goes through the motions of having a wife to prove his success and that he’s a regular human-style person, but doesn’t really understand WHY people have a spouse.

And that one of the reasons may be support and help in hard/stressful times, like Comcast employees trying to fuck with your livelihood, ya know?

EDIT:

BTW, was it just me, or did anyone else notice Phil talk about how “Khat got REALLY mad”, which kinda reminded me of how kids talk about their mother.

As in: “When I told my mom he took the snacks, she got REALLY mad!” Or “My mom is going to be really angry when I tell her what you did!”

GTA 6 is what he imagines Jenna's life being like, and it makes him uncomfortable.

Jenna might be a brain damaged meth whore, but it still seems like she's getting more out of life than Phil and Khet.

Well… Phil and Khet’s house without blinds, proper (non paper) plates and entire bathrooms being out of service, doesn’t seem like a huge improvement tbh.

Jenna: Gets paid on the regular. Sometimes for profit, sometimes for fun.

Khat: Sexless, 300 pound potato, platonically married to a man who’d rather pull gacha in a drunken stupor than see a female body.

Add to that the regular social interactions Jenna has, and I’m not so sure that Khat is the happy sibling.

Plus: Jenna may still get a redemption arc where she finds Jesus and marries someone.

Khat is forever stuck in the snortfort trying to tune out Phil’s SNORTS and ACKACKACK
