Are we not going to discuss the fact he released an extended cut of his already-too-long album and ruined the song order? Don't get me wrong, it's a compilation of good songs but as an album, it makes zero sense, there's songs that repeat, it's unbearably long and I've not listened to it twice.

Like motherfucker, how is 2 hours an acceptable duration? Who the fuck got that kind of time?

Kanye West’s DONDA album has been officially nominated for five Grammy Awards, including the highly coveted Album of The Year nomination.

To my knowledge, this is actually the first time I’ve ever heard of a Kanye West album getting an AOTY nomination at the Grammys. Not that anyone cares for awards shows in general, but considering this album rollout, this is pretty interesting to witness. It also could go to show that “cancel culture” won’t mean much when big names are too big to be “canceled”.

Either way, here are the screenshots of the nominations that Kanye has and see if he has a shot of winning it:

Jethro Tull once won best hard rock/metal album, for Crest of a Knave, beating Metallica. Worse, it was pre-Alternica era before they shit on their reputation with garbage like St. Anger, when they were still metal, and specifically, it was ...And Justice for All. It's no Master of Puppets but it was clearly the choice between the candidates (other than maybe Nothing's Shocking from Jane's Addiction).

That was a bad year without a doubt. Macklemore, seriously? Kill me. And knowing the nominees for best album of the year, this year is going to be horrible too.
 
Kanye just uploaded a story on his Instagram tagging Kim Kardashian and quoting this article from TMZ, from when he went to visit homeless people in L.A. Mission and told them about his divorce, because that is a subject that undoubtedly interests people who don’t have what to eat or where to sleep.

Hope Ye can find some peace during this unfortunate time. Him and Virgil used to hang a lot during their time on trying to be recognized by some of the biggest fashion industries in the world.
 
I put this at the first Kanye mention, but the whole thing is still worth watching...
