Kamala Harris should have won the 2024 Presidential election. Already a year has passed and yet discussions on the outcome of this election has rarely been circulated or debated on the internet, or on Kiwifarms. We will be fixing that. Today.
Additionally, not only should she have won, but if she had, she would be placed somewhere within the Top 5 Presidents ever within the history of this nation (of course, if she obeyed her campaign policies and everything went perfect.)
My argument will be split into three parts:
1. Her economic agenda;
2. What she has that the other guy doesn't; and
3. Why she ranks Top 5.
Her economic agenda
Pursuant to "A New Way Forward For The Middle Class" agenda, her comprehensive economic framework to lower costs and create an opportunity economy, she discusses in detail how she will help the American economy. In total, this agenda is 82 pages. How much pages is Trumps? 11. Kamala's economic policies are quite literally 7.4x better and longer than Trumps, but it doesn't stop there. Kamala wants to expand on President Biden's historical infrastructure investment and manufacturing policies that brought manufacturing back to the States. Just look at the facts, Jack: President Biden's Bipartisan Infrastructure Law brought 30 million people broadband, it invested in transportation and manufacturing, it gave over a $1 Trillion to private businesses (since I know Kiwifarms loves it when the free market is boosted), but most importantly, it brought hope to the American people.
What's Kamala's plan? Extending this. Focus less on the policy and more on the politics. Bring investment, not just towards Biden but towards Middle Class families. Her plan's main pillar is to make the United States the America we were promised.
What she has that the other guy doesn't
Let's talk about Trump. There's a lot of things about Trump, but I'll avoid talking much about him because this is about Kamala. What does she have, that Trump doesn't? Firstly, Kamala is a woman. Yes, I know, "gender doesn't mean shes a good politician", but what if I told you that's wrong? Studies show women show more compassion towards issues that effect struggling people. Studies show women are more intelligence and often more observant than men. What about Trump? Well firstly, he's a rapist. He raped E. Jean Carroll. Then, he went to Epstein island. He's old, out of shape, and he is not fit to command. His vile stance on the Central Park Five, even after they were exonerated, shows exactly where his values lie: not with justice, not with truth, and certainly not with Black and brown communities. He chose to stand with a man who called for the death penalty of innocent boys children even after DNA evidence cleared them. That's not just bad judgment. That's racism, plain and simple. And let's not ignore the corruption. His actions reek of self-interest and systemic rot. He doesn't serve the people he serves power, privilege, and prejudice. The public deserves better than his hypocrisy and bigotry disguised as "policy."
Why she ranks Top 5
Firstly, literally everybody ranks Obama in the top 10 or even top 5 depending on how much credit you give to him for his outstanding economic record. However, his ranking comes mostly from the record he set. He told America that whether your Black or young, you still got a chance to be President. Is Kamala won, she would be telling half the country: "I see you. I hear you. You can be here too." Now, I've noticed Kiwifarms is fond of FDR. Her policies are reminiscent of his: strengthening the free market, expanding the social security net, and investing in America.
