Kamala Harris is one of the worst people ever to attain national office, and since this seems to be the week that the mainstream press is turning on her, it seems like a great time to start a megathread.

All of the comments are roasting her as well, lol.
I’ll PL a little bit and say I look for Catholic content on YouTube and her campaign is so inept they’re giving me abortion ads when I’m trying to find a video to understand the difference between Traditional Latin Mass and Novus Ordo Mass. I feel like it’s not really the best idea to give campaign ads telling devout Catholics that you want unrestricted abortions. Starts on the 12th and starts stealing only 11 days later and every day after…

LA Times, Calif.'s largest newspaper, won't endorse presidential candidate this year

The editorial board of the Los Angeles Times isn’t making an endorsement in the presidential election for the first time since 2004, a decision that leaves Vice President Kamala Harris without the official backing of her home state’s largest newspaper.

The Times’ editorial board, which operates separately from the newsroom but includes executive editor Terry Tang, published its slate of endorsements for the Nov. 5 election on Sept. 10. The write-up began, “It’s no exaggeration to say this may be the most consequential election in a generation. And we’re not just talking about the presidential race.” But it did not mention the contest between Harris and former President Donald Trump again, even to explain or clarify the lack of endorsement.

Semafor’s media editor Max Tani got the inside scoop, writing Tuesday that the board originally planned to extend its four-election streak of backing Democratic presidential candidates. But, according to the outlet’s unnamed sources, LA Times owner Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong, a former surgeon who grew immensely wealthy in the pharmaceutical industry, decided the board wouldn’t release an endorsement. According to Semafor, Soon-Shiong also shut down the editorial board’s Democratic primary endorsement in 2020, before allowing it to officially back Joe Biden the following fall.

SFGATE asked LA Times spokesperson Hillary Manning about this year’s non-endorsement on Tuesday. She replied, “We do not comment on internal discussions or decisions about editorials or endorsements.”

The omission, for the board, makes the presidential contest an outlier — the team published endorsements for 10 state propositions, four state Legislature races and a slate of races and ballot measures for both the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County. Unsurprisingly, Adam Schiff, D-Burbank, earned the board’s endorsement over former Dodgers star Steve Garvey for U.S. Senate, and four Democrats in four House of Representatives races also received endorsements.

Official declaration aside, the editorial board has made its preference for Harris obvious. Carla Hall, one member, wrote in Saturday column, “Two and a half weeks from now, I don’t want to write that Harris lost but ran a glorious campaign. I want to write that she had a spectacular victory.” A piece from August, bylined by the entire board, called Harris eloquent, commanding and clear-eyed. The column ended, “Soon, this particular woman might be in control of the entire nation. How righteous would that be?”

The board, in its 2016 endorsement of Hilary Clinton, called Trump a “thin-skinned demagogue who is unqualified and unsuited to be president.” In 2020, supporting Biden, it wrote, “Nothing less than the health of our constitutional democracy is at stake.”

But the board members’ billionaire boss, it seems, doesn’t want his outlet making an official stand on the Harris side of history this year. The board’s endorsement write-up finished with this odd disclaimer: “The editorial board endorses selectively, choosing the most consequential races in which to make recommendations.”

As the kids say, this really activates the almonds.

Makes me wonder what news stories they're sitting on until after the election.

@KiwiFuzz2 - but I was told by glow posters that with this election Kamala is literally a Shoe in and they will rig it regardless with cheating so I shouldn't even bother and accept the fact my future children will be raped by the school system for their own good and I should like it because I'm a white man and I'm responsible for everything bad right guise!!!!

this "non-declaration" ultimately means nothing, then.

Make no mistake, they will try. The only question is how far they'll get.

Who'd have thought it'd come to this... After libtards steal the election again & crown their shitskin Marxist cunt as queen I'm going apolitical. After I vote they can destroy America, it's in God's hands now.

Does anyone feel like Biden, Obama and Bill Clinton in some way intentionally sabotaged Harris's campaign?
Biden certainly is. Probably wasn't the wisest idea to coup one of the most belligerent, spiteful politicians of our time. When Biden has his good days, he's spending the time finding new ways to stick it to her.

Obama and Clinton are more trying to keep their distance from the fallout of what could be a catastrophic failure. Obama especially since he still wants to be the kingmaker. So they're going out, putting the minimal in, and try to save the down ballot races so they can't get blamed for doing nothing.

But the person sabotaging Kamala the most is Kamala herself. She's a lazy, unlikeable cunt who refuses to take ownership for anything and lacks the knowledge, instincts, or leadership skills to effectively manage her campaign (or at least retain competent people to do it for her).

I can understand why Kamala is looking so tired. This has to be the most cringe and sad campaign I’ve ever seen. Like “‘Now that’s what I call an economic” plan might be the most cringe advertisement I’ve seen in years. It’s not technically Kamala’s people but it’s an affiliated superpac of democratic strategists.

She got here through being promoted as a check box ticker, her own Presidential campaign in 2020 never scored above margin of error for the polling.

You don't need anyone to sabotage you when you can't statistically climb above zero on your own.

I'm sure he'd love to, he's just too incoherent to do it without loyal handlers to carry it out, and he doesn't have those.

Yep.

Bill's irrelevant ever since he was locked in the attic in 2016 to not ruin Her Turn (tm) and hasn't been let out, Obama's an empty suit whose begging for cash is rendered hollow by the fact the media machine that propped him up has moved on to focus on Trump instead.

Both men are hamstrung by the fact that the feverish socjus/IDpol/Prog-Dem public kind of blame them for the failure of Utopia to arrive, moreso than those awful Nazis..... you really can't underestimate the degree to which their anger and seething is motivated by the idea that they were PROMISED a Republican-free future in 2008 and 2016......

Will she be OK writing that Harris lost after running a bigly, bigly terrible campaign? Because that's where it looks like going ngl.

"Now That's What I Call An Economic Plan"?

. . . Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, that kind of cringe should be a war crime. This is why you don't hire theater kids. You can't be told how to be cool by those who never were or will be.

You should see some of the obvious paid Gen Z influencers she’s hired. She’s of course got the infamous Harry Sisson and this gay jeet Arjun Manjunath churning out completely cringe content.

How much of the sabotage is because of Jill being salty about Joe being forced out of the election? Or is Joe himself proving to be just as spiteful?

Epic Rap Battles of History (which is typically a leftist spin) can’t even make Kamala palatable. All the attacks on Kamala on very nasty and very accurate. She can’t even manage to have her own kids. All the ones they went after Trump on are things people don’t care about. It seems like the zeitgeist is moving towards a Kamala loss.
