Kamala Harris is one of the worst people ever to attain national office, and since this seems to be the week that the mainstream press is turning on her, it seems like a great time to start a megathread.

Goddamn I hate this Kamala bitch with the burning fire of a thousand Oakland fires and the burning fury of a thousand Oakland mass shootings!

I saw her on CNN and I am watching her on MSNBC after the Biden debate and she is roasting her own ass.

Let me clue the normies in that Rachel is DNC in the front and Jim Hightower in the back.

Rachel is giving her rope.

Rachel Maddow just flamed Kamala.

Claire McCascill: "Joe Biden had one thing to do tonight and he didn't do it."

Edit: Claire's breaking down in real time.

Sounds like she has a serious problem trying to not be part of the problem.

Too bad I lost my old login or I would update the OP.

Womp womp.

remember when people said biden picking her for VP would win him brownie points with the minorities?
lol
Well when you go and fuck Willie Brown and get groomed by him.... you go places.

Why in fuck do you think she got the job in San Fran?

ONE more thing. This bitch is EVIL... REALLY EVIL...
Follow the paper trail and you can find out how bad she really is.

She's more incompetent than evil, TBH. Look at this thread. She had the potential to be puppet master and was left to rot by her own party. Now they need a proper successor yesterday and have to use her, which goes to show how the Dem party at large can't do basic planning.
I'm surprised that with an elaborate system that clearly has people who are the "Inner Party" and the rank-and-file, they didn't set up a competent succession setup beyond by what is required by law (Mike Johnson-R is technically third in line for the Presidency if both Biden and Harris kicked it), and now I wonder if it was to prevent people from straight up murdering the next person in line.

Yeah but those were voting blue anyway.

Also i hope they will push that issue, Kamala is just retarded enough to coin it as a black issue...
I'll say that Harris already has a better chance than Biden did because her brain is intact.

She can read a teleprompter a lot better.

Just for shits and giggles:

Original (Archive)

President Joe Biden acted with unprecedented selflessness when he announced on Sunday that he would no longer run for reelection.

His announcement has reset the race and given Democrats a fresh chance in the final three-and-a-half months of this campaign. His vice president is best positioned to take advantage of that opportunity. That’s why Biden endorsed her less than half an hour after saying he would drop his bid.

This is an extraordinary time, but the path to victory in November is clear: Daily Kos is excited to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris for president in 2024.

MAKING HISTORY

We have a real chance to shatter our country’s centuries-old glass ceiling. Imagine our great nation finally electing a woman—and a Black and Asian American woman at that! Holy crap, that gets me excited, and hopefully, it gets you excited too! We are going to have something real to fight for: the major accomplishments of the Biden-Harris administration and a ground-breaking candidate as well.

Harris already has the support of Biden. And the Clintons. And the chairs of the major House caucuses.

The campaign committee has already changed its name to “Harris for President,” giving Harris a $91 million head start on any potential Democratic challenger. It’s ludicrous to think that anyone else would try to make a go of it.

In fact, some of the biggest names that have been floated as possible challengers are begging off—and some have already explicitly endorsed her.
The choice is clear.

UNITING AROUND KAMALA HARRIS

It’s been a rocky several weeks for the Democratic Party, but it is now imperative that we unite. It’s time to stop the “Democrats in disarray” headlines the media so loves and get back to the most important goal: defeating Donald Trump and saving our democracy.
And that’s exactly what Harris has promised to do:

I will do everything in my power to unite the Democratic Party—and unite our nation—to defeat Donald Trump and his extreme Project 2025 agenda.
We have 107 days until Election Day. Together, we will fight. And together, we will win.

If you’re angry about the way Biden was shoved aside, I see you. I agree with you. And I promise you, the hero’s welcome and send-off Biden will receive at the Democratic National Convention will help us heal. Just the thought of it makes me tear up. But we don’t have the luxury of time to properly grieve. We must focus on the fight ahead.

We’re about to hit some stormy seas, no way around it. This is a historical event in the middle of an already chaotic campaign. It is our job to focus on the work we need to do: organizing to make history.

Imagine a Black woman ending Trump’s career once and for all. Could there be any better poetic justice?

If nothing else, that would be enough motivation for me. But with democracy and our very rights on the line, there is so much more at stake.

I’m all in and ready to fight! Are you ready?

Of course they endorsed her. Of course they're gushing over her.

Also, I know this wasn't worthy of having its own thread, so it made more sense to post it in this thread.

She is one of the most genuinely soulless politicians I have ever seen.

I think Trump is a solopsist and he genuinely struggles to recognize other humans as creatures who are totally distinct from him. As far as I can tell, he's run his orgs as a one-man operation where everyone around him exists to serve him. He's a juggernaut and he's made it clear that people need to get behind him and push or get out of the way.

I think Kamala is a narcissist in a different way; she is also a solopsist, but she's like a kid on a jungle gym where she pulls herself up on the backs of other people in a way that makes the other people feel like they owe her one.

Time to run that Kamala as DA was against the 2A:
Kamala Harris, as D.A., definitely endorsed the view that a total handgun ban didn't violate the Second Amendment.

She also seemed to endorse the view that the Second Amendment secures only a "collective" or "militia-related" right, and not the individual right that the Court ultimately recognized in D.C. v. Heller.

Ads being run that she supported a total handgun ban in D.C. should poll really well in the Midwest.

Kamala Harris would be the female version of Jussie Smollett if she were POTUS. She’ll be paraded as a true oppressed victim that overcame all hurdles, only to end up having a disastrous failure of a first term where she throws all her voters, donors and fellow Democrat politicians under the bus.

To put it short, she’ll be the worst kind of Hillary Clinton — the boring one with no substance and more baggage that could end up harming the DNC as a whole.
