Kamala Harris is one of the worst people ever to attain national office, and since this seems to be the week that the mainstream press is turning on her, it seems like a great time to start a megathread.

VP Harris Will Head Task Force To Address Online Harassment And Abuse

A new federal task force called the “White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse” launched Thursday afternoon, and Vice President Kamala Harris hosted its first meeting.

According to an official White House “fact sheet,” the task force will respond “to the need for government leadership to address online harms, which disproportionately affect women, girls, people of color, and LGBTQI+ individuals.” The meeting will center around the VP convening a “survivor and expert” roundtable.

As many have already pointed out, this task force sounds extremely similar to the failed Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board. As its poses familiar goals and intentions to what czar Nina Jankowicz was pushing for just a few weeks ago.

For example, one of the task force’s intentions includes, “enhancing and expanding data collection and research across the Federal Government to measure the costs, prevalence, exposure to, and impact of technology-facilitated gender-based violence.”

While another is “developing programs and policies to address the disproportionate impact of online harassment, abuse, and disinformation campaigns targeting women and LGBTQI+ individuals who are public and political figures.”

Just like what Jankowicz conquered about her “Ministry of Truth,” this new task force believes its efforts will stop the next U.S. mass shooting from happening. Even though it fails to elaborate on how exactly it would do that. “The internet can fuel hate, misogyny, and abuse with spillover effects that threaten our communities and safety offline,” the task force cited.

It is also not clear what platforms the task force will be analyzing. Regardless, it has been given 180 days to provide recommendations for how it plans on combating “illegal conduct” online.

Beyond the shameless attempt to resurrect President Biden’s failed “Ministry of Truth,” many Americans are calling Harris out for her mishandling of priorities. 239,416 illegal aliens crossed our southwest border last month, which is the highest number ever recorded. Not to mention a situation the VP was tasked with a year ago. Since then, we have seen astronomical numbers month after month with zero signs of slowing down.

Per The New York Post, “Vice President Kamala Harris is supposedly the White House point on the border surge, but the issue has vanished from her schedule.”

“She hasn’t hosted an immigration event in nine months,” it added.

Harris has, essentially, given up her role of protecting our Southern border. Turns out monitoring “hate speech” on the internet is more important than U.S. sovereignty.

The jokes write themselves. I know what you all are thinking, and what you want to say.

I feel like we get this article every month. People are beginning to realize that the party is unbelievably fucked thanks to years of bad decisions and propping up the likes of Kamala.

Democrats are despairing about the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming the 2024 nominee if President Biden doesn’t seek a second term in office, insiders told The Post.

Three polls just this month show more than 50% of Americans hold an unfavorable view of Harris, and those headwinds will likely only increase should Republicans retake the House next year.

“Her main problem is not being a woman or mixed race, her problem is she has low ratings just like President Biden,” said Larry Sabato, a professor of Politics at the University of Virginia. “If Biden were riding sky high, she would be doing relatively well as well. She would be seen as a popular successor carrying on a popular president’s mandate.”

Political donors — who all requested anonymity to speak freely — are similarly beside themselves.

“She seems completely useless. No one involved in this administration should be in the running,” one significant Democratic donor told The Post.

Democratic insiders have fretted about Harris’ own bungled 2020 presidential campaign, during which she dropped out in December 2019, with an operation widely derided at the time as disorganized and riven with infighting.

Since being elected, those issues have continued to simmer, with her vice presidential office frequently in the news for staff turnover, with at least a dozen leaving. In April alone she lost her Chief of Staff, Tina Flournoy, and Deputy Chief of Staff Michael Fuchs. Staffers have griped anonymously that the mood internally is “dour,” “chaotic,” and that they are “treated like s—t.”

“She doesn’t know how to build a staff that has a common purpose. You see a lot of her staffers are doing their own thing. There is little guidance from her and it just looks messy all the time and all she can do when asked about it publicly and privately is giggle,” lamented a top Democratic staffer on capitol hill.

“I just don’t think people are seeing her as a serous contender,” he added. “If she weren’t the vice president she wouldn’t even been ON the list.”

Dislodging Harris, however, won’t be easy.

As the sitting vice resident, most agree that Harris is an immediate frontrunner in any potential open Democratic primary. She would come into any contest with the highest name recognition, which would offer a critical boost in early fundraising. If Biden doesn’t run again, 31% of voters said they would support her for the top job, according to a December poll from Morning Consult.

“Kamala is a strong black woman, the first elected vice president. Democrats can’t win without having high black turnout. She is a role model and a beacon to millions of people around the country,” said Chris Coffey, a Democratic political consultant.

Besides Harris, the list of Democratic 2024 aspirants may include New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who is said to be taking a look, as well as California Governor Gavin Newsom, but neither have broad national followings. Sen. Bernie Sanders, 80, (I-Vermont), who recently had a heart attack, has not ruled out a third run for the White House.

The GOP primary is also up in the air. Polls have consistently shown former President Trump would win if he sought the 2024 nomination, but there is also growing enthusiasm around Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Bolded bits are being emphasized by me because they're hilarious. Absolutely agreed with the quote about how no one in this administration is a viable option so that tanks an already-shaky Buttigieg option (he might actually be seen as worse than Kamala thanks to how many crises circle back to his utter failure as the head of DoT). Her incompetence at building her own staff just spells disaster when it comes to building a cabinet as President (fortunately it's unlikely she's going to get there).

But that last part is horrifying. What a mess the Democrat bench is that Gavin Newsom is even being given a thought. Most of the country thinks California is a shithole and have no interest in California policies becoming national.

That's fucking pathetic. 1st run he cucked out, 2nd run he had no choice but to back out because of his health. If Biden doesn't croak before he's out of office, then Sanders most certainly will croak while in office.

Do these people have no sense of forethought? Any sane person or group(s) of people would just call it quits, go back to the drawing board and try to regain their party to something more sensable, not crash head first into a brick wall.

All that the committee that controls Biden had to do was pick Gabbard for VP and I wouldn't hate them quite as much as I do now. That's literally all they had to do. But no, they chose the second most vile and awful woman to ever run for president. Yes, I consider her worse than fauxcahontas by a mile.

They're now realize, far too late, that "ten years of Kamala" will absolutely not happen, that she'll be removed from office by hook or by crook if she ever steps behind that desk.

So at this point who is even the future of the Democratic party? No one likes Harris, Biden is demented, Bernie is old. Yang has never won an election, Buttigieg has only won a local election and has plenty of personal issues (gay, weird, Harvard, McKinsey, etc.), and Gabbard only won in a tiny, eternally blue state and has been sidelined for talking shit anyway. Warren? Klobuchar? Is Hillary gonna go for the anti-hat trick?

He'd only run if he could get another nice payout from it.

That's the million dollar question now. The field has never been more bare for the Democrats thanks to Hillary sabotaging the machine and Obama not giving a shit about building anyone else up. It's going to be a rough period for them especially with Joe's administration imploding in record time.

I'm trying to think of some governors who might try to run. Kathy Hochul is a creepy proto-Pelosi whose opinions on guns are retarded even for a New York Democrat; Gretchen Whitmer has anti-Trump "that woman from Michigan" clout (plus the whole kidnapping honeypot psy-op) but has done jack fuck for her state; Gavin Newsom is a slimeball dimestore Romney who continues the ruination of California; maybe J.B. Pritzker?

I know Eric Adams has floated the possibility but he probably wouldn't even win if the NYC mayoral elections were run now.

I dunno. VP Gabbard would have the stink of the Biden admin on her.
