"Souls to the polls" is fine and dandy when black democrats do it, but if white people in the sticks did it, there would be hell to pay.
Also note that Kamala identifies as both Hindu and Christian, which is another way of saying that she is an unabashed atheist.
Not that there's anything wrong with being atheist, but most atheists don't pretend to be a part of a religious tradition they're not just to score cheap political points.

After the first Dem debate where Kamala attacked Joe Biden, Jill Biden was angered by Kamala and attacked her in a call with close supporters.

The aides could do the political maneuvering after Harris’ attack. Jill was and is the guardian of the Biden honor, the Biden id. She couldn’t bear to watch a woman who called herself a friend of her son’s—although Beau was not her biological child, she’d raised him his entire life as if he were—try to tear her husband down, to score a point at a debate.
“With what he cares about, what he fights for, what he’s committed to, you get up there and call him a racist without basis?” she said on a phone call with close supporters a week later, according to multiple people on the call. “Go f— yourself.”
To make things even worse for Kamala her first foreign policy trip turned out to be a complete disaster.

Well It works in her case. Hindu is mostly a cultural identity and well christianity is very complicated, but has also a clear moral and cultural code. Beeing a good little christian has also no effect on your chances of salvation.
