Well, at least we know who the mass supporters behind Stop Oil are. Shitskins like @0da2 who hate Western culture.
Also, on the topic of Stop Oil, I don't know if I'd be able to stop myself from violently murdering someone if I saw them attempting to destroy a valuable cultural artifact. The people who try to stop them show faaaar too much restraint. You need to make these people scared to attempt these stunts.

The fact that it may not sell well at auction does not, in any way at all, mitigate the fact that these [r-slurs] attempted to destroy private property. It is not a matter of taste to criticise their self-indulgent "protest".
I really do not care about the "private property" angle. The privateness of art is, almost by definition, dubious at best. Either way, the painting is owned by the Spanish government. They didn't break in and ruin a collector's piece, which would have been somewhat rude. What they did to the painting deserves some serious finger-wagging. But they didn't ruin much. The painting is boring, and I think many people would agree with me, which is why I brought up auctions in the first place.

If I destroyed your artifacts, would you start thinking like me?

Do you people seriously not understand that this painting is the equivalent of an MCU capeshit poster? This literally does not require any taste. It won a prize for being the best Columbus painting among hundreds of other paintings by artists, who all basically painted the same painting, for the same anniversary, for the government. And beyond this one contest, there are thousands of other Columbus paintings. It is not valuable. Like I am not even talking about the aesthetic qualities of the painting. I am deliberately trying to make this so incredibly accessible for you. Can you please read some art history.

I do not understand why there are so few other people on the right who care about art. Why are there so many of you embarrassing, culturally illiterate chuds.

The people who fund them need to be scared.
In britains case the executives of ecotricity the solar company.

These are completely different concepts. Private property is not related to privacy.

Either way, the painting is owned by the Spanish government.
This doesn't make it better.

"Why don't the right care about art? Also stop caring about this art!"

None of your arguments about art history matter, friend. The point is that they attempted to destroy something they thought of as valuable and culturally significant, and they deliberately chose a piece that wasn't protected. They wanted to destroy art. Your bleatings about auction prices and your personal opinions about the quality are completely irrelevant.

This goes without saying! But the thugs that carry out the acts need to be brutalized to such a degree that even the thought of taking part in these stunts causes them to quiver and piss their pants. Violence is how these scum will learn.

I understand, which is why I said "privateness" and not "privacy"... I am saying a very specific thing here.

Either way, the painting is owned by the Spanish government.

It does. It's literally public property.

"Why don't the right care about art? Also stop caring about this art!"
You're just being deliberately stupid. Bad art is bad. We do not have to tolerate... bad art. I'm asking you to have taste.

The point is that they attempted to destroy something they thought of as valuable and culturally significant, and they deliberately chose a piece that wasn't protected. They wanted to destroy art.
Art displayed publicly for all to see imposes itself onto said public. To display art is not a neutral act. The art itself has weight, which the public feels and reacts to. What exactly do you think you're doing when you hang it up?

It's just really embarrassing that they've managed to get you all riled up about this shitty painting. You're culturally illiterate and cannot discern good art from bad, and now you're soying out about muh destruction of art (!!!). But the art is bad.
>This is just like Nazi book burnings!
>Noo, don't burn my Harry Potter books, noo
>This is literally 1984, Fahrenheit 451, etc., etc.

But the art is bad.
I do not care. The issue is the intent of the people committing the act, which you seem fixated on defending or minimising. It doesn't matter if the art is bad. It matters that the people attempting to destroy it think that it's something valuable.

The intent of vandals is to rile you up.

Please stop shitting up the thread like a culturally illiterate vandal.
Good luck. He seems to be popping up in various threads to shit them up and farm autistic and dumb stickers. Retard popped up in a thread in PG and tried to cite Wikipedia as to why KF is a "harassment forum" and when called out on it wanted to go into autistic detail about how Wikipedia is totally a valid source.

That painting was objectively shit, anyway. It has little actual value.

Even if it was some postmodernist drawing of a urinal done in crayon, it was still an incredibly autistic, stupid thing to do. And just flat out wrong.

And we reserve the right to document such incidents and make fun of them.

EDIT: I only just barely looked through Oda2's post history and everyone's responses to him.
