Problem is the UK is completely pozzed, The people that beat these idiots would get arrested and tossed in the slammer while the retards doing the damage would be back at it in no time flat. This may have already been posted, but the terrorists are said to begin "slashing" paintings. I thought all of them were under glass?
Public not get involved?? Hell, the public should beat the tar out of these stinking punks.
Just my opinion.
It's a shame, really. I know there are people there that are still sane.Problem is the UK is completely pozzed, The people that beat these idiots would get arrested and tossed in the slammer while the retards doing the damage would be back at it in no time flat.
I would say the vast majority of people disagree with these kinds of laws, but it all gets forced on them from above and there's not much they can do about it. Was the same with immigration considering a labour advisor from the time openly admitted to hiding their immigration policy because they knew people wouldn't agree with it back then. It's a shame, really. I know there are people there that are still sane.
They literally don't care if they cause an accident, they've openly admitted they do it knowing they could kill someone like this demented old boomer

I like how almost all of the sectors have greenhouse gasses as the largest "damage", giving corporate industry the excuse to very visibly expend all of their PR effort on something utterly meaningless, while avoiding any requirement to address all of the actual damage they do to local environments. But the fuckery doesn’t end there, as there’s corporations out there causing 2.2 trillions of dollars worth of damage every year.
Here is a good stream covering Coca Cola Corporation operating in MexicoThe entire environmental movement has been hijacked by this climate change narrative, letting companies like coco cola off the hook for their outright destruction, monopolisation and theft of resources all over the planet (aquifers, in coca cola's case), and for all of the garbage they dump in poor nations, all so they can sell more eco-lifestyle tat to urban pod dwellers and "socially conscious" protestors. And the modern left, the so-called champions of the workers, spend their fortunes to suck the dick of these gigantic, destructive corporations, while berating and punishing those very same workers for daring to want to earn even a meagre living.
Where do they even find all these nutty boomers?
+1.5°C is their central Big Lie btw. The cornerstone on which all their ideology is built. If I haven't posted it already (might have done in the other thread):

Thanks. Haven't been online in several days, so trying to catch up. Good info.I did make a post about it last page, but I kind of buried the lead in that one, so here's a summary:
A Sky News journo did an interview (archive) with the group's unofficial spokesman, Alex De Koning, a Scottish magician/student who does that activist larp thing of comparing themselves to a historic protest movement – in this case the Suffragettes, who notably slashed paintings to get what they wanted.
He stopped just short of saying JSO would use this exact tactic. But when the journalist prompted him for an answer, he said: "It could potentially come to that at one point in the future, yeah."
To me, this reads like an empty threat. Throwing soup and fucking around with glue were empty threats also. If they wanted to destroy art to make a point, they probably would have done so by now. And if this clown actually wanted to use "listen to us or the painting gets it" as an ultimatum to force the government's hand into obeying them, he wouldn't have waited for the journalist to set him up for it. If anything, Sky News are as eager as any broadcaster to amplify this group's reach by gently prodding them into voicing their most retarded ideas, then reporting on them as sensationally as possible.
And mainstream news orgs would very much like people to talk about "muh CLIMATE EMERGENCY" like it's the new fucking Covid, so this would be entirely on-brand for them. Just Stop Oil are complicit in it too, but they are very much the useful idiots in this particular scheme.
They'll spend boatloads of money in a pledge to fight climate change, but will they ever stop farming alfalfa for their camels even though it's proven to have killed their (and now the state of Arizona's) aquifers? Hell no!
I think the one thing I really never saw coming in the last 5 or 6 years is the total swap of leftwing and rightwing considerations on big corps. And the modern left, the so-called champions of the workers, spend their fortunes to suck the dick of these gigantic, destructive corporations, while berating and punishing those very same workers for daring to want to earn even a meagre living.
The extinction rebellion and Greta Thunberg types often not only have surface level understanding of how the natural world works, but often are further uneducated about how 700 corporations have been gaslighting them into thinking that individual people within society causes shitty weather.

The chief of the Metropolitan Police has said he would like to be able to leave anti-fossil fuel protestors hanging from motorway gantries, but that he is not allowed to.
Sir Mark Rowley, who took over as Commissioner of the Met in September, told MPs that he was “completely up” for leaving the activists where they were if they had locked themselves onto motorway gantries.
However, he told the Home Affairs Select Committee that the Highways Agency had decided it was dangerous, because of the risk of distraction, and that it was “their call” to remove the protestors.
He also blamed Parliament for creating a legal “grey area” which meant police officers did not know if they could arrest protestors or clear them from roadways without infringing on their human rights.
A transport carrier with nine cancer patients inside was stuck in the mass gridlock for at least 30 minutes before it was allowed to pass on the request of the police.
A Met Police officer was heard by The Telegraph asking the climate activists: “Can you do us a favour – there’s a van full of nine cancer patients, can you let it pass?”
When asked if he would apologise to the delayed patients, Sean Irish, 25, who was leading Just Stop Oil’s protest, did so and said “disruption is obviously a consequence”.
Mr Irish added: “They got through, we hope their treatment goes really well but there’s no liveable future on a dead planet.”
