I think it's worth making a distinction because the motivation is usually different. With troons it's usually either a fetish thing (particularly with MTFs) or they're confused and have some other kind of mental issue or trauma going on under the hood. With non-binary/genderfluid types it comes more from a place of narcissism and egotism, it's a cry for attention. "Look at me, I go by they/them pronouns, look how special I am". Way more obnoxious and always indicative of a worse personality IMO.
 
Come to think of it, why are so many protest signs orange now? It's weirdly consistent. Orange shiurts, orange signs, orange high-vis jackets. I don't get it.

Just Stop Oil's 'Beyond F***ed Banquet' was derailed today by counter-protestors, who set off alarms suspended in balloons.

The divisive climate activism group held an event in London to 'step back, grieve for what will die and disappear but also to celebrate what we have achieved', offering campaign updates, stories from people 'in resistance', plant based food and music.

But the banquet was thrown off course when 'Just Stop P***ing Everyone Off' protestors crashed the event with deafening 'personal safety alarms'.

The group - which this week clashed with JSO as they prepared to march on London - was revealed to be led by British YouTubers Josh Pierters and Archie Manners.

Manners told MailOnline this evening: 'Climate Change is the greatest crisis facing our generation - but if we're going to solve it we need to work together.

'JSO's tactics over the last 18 months haven't worked; indeed people across the country are put off this vital cause as a result of their protesting.

'The people at JSO are well intended; but they're going about it the wrong way. Stopping mothers getting to hospital, or ruining people's day out at the snooker isn't doing anything to tackle climate change.'

we've always known these people were idiots and disruptive, but it seems recently they've become quite a bit more active, with multple works of art and museums being vandalized and these people gluing themselves to roads every week or so.

What caused the most recent increase in tard moments? Most people don't just wake up and suddenly say "hey I'm gonna play fingerpaints with art" or "I'm gonna glue myself to the asphalt on the highway, hope people respect me for it", it seems that this is a reaction to an otherwise unknown action.

I have 2 theories on this

There were maybe 1 protest a month during winter, now that it's summer there is a protest every day. I think this is the most likely reason because they only want to participate if there will be minimal inconvenience and discomfort (source of this: guy who killed himself after spending 3 weeks in jail for protesting)

My other theory is just that students are out of college now and JSO's numbers are built up of 90% blonde girls and their male friends from local universities and 10% grannies who have spent the last 60 years on earth polluting in their range rovers
 
a number of these groups were funded by some oil tycoons grand daughter, "Jean Paul Getty", Just Stop Oil especially
the ones that were doing most of the art defacements actually got permission from most the art exhibits they did it at, my guess is they probably paid them to let them stage the protest, which is why nothing happened to them
then there were a bunch of other retards, unaffiliated with the first but in similar groups or offshoots of Just Stop Oil, who thought they could do the same thing in other places with no connections but found out they couldnt
a bunch were arrested and charged with no help like the first group had, and now they just seem to be gluing themselves to roads instead

So I missed this while my internet was down, but the two cockwombles who climbed the Dartford Crossing bridge and shut it down had their appeals against their sentences heard on Wednesday. They're complaining that the sentences (one got 3 years and the other 2.5ish) are unduly harsh. What really struck me was this bit:
In written submissions to the court, their barrister Daniel Friedman KC said the jail terms were "extraordinary" and were the "longest ever handed down in a case of non-violent protest in this country in modern times".
"The extent of the deterrent element of the offence was unduly severe, unreasonable and otherwise likely to have a 'chilling effect' on all protest," he said.

Leaving aside the fact that sentences are supposed to have a chilling effect on people considering committing the same crime, it's doubly funny because you know who doesn't think the harsh sentence will deter others? One of the dickheads appealing it:

Simultaneously whinging the sentences are too mean, while also shit talking about how sentences won't stop the movement because you're on the right side of history™ is the exact kind of double speak jew-jitsu I'd expect from these cunts.
 
A few weeks ago a Just Stop Oil protestor interrupted the Snooker World Championship. Former Chairman of the event, Barry Hearn, was not pleased about this and has rounded up a sizeable amount of spectators with the aim of assisting them to all press legal actions again the protestor, Eddie Whittingham, in an attempt to royally fuck with his future. I must say, a class act. Source.
