Crime Josh Duggar Arrested - 19 Years and Counting?

Josh Duggar is in custody in Arkansas federal law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

The reality star was arrested Thursday by federal agents in Washington County, and he's being held in a detention center without bail.

We've obtained Duggar's mug shot, showing the former reality star posing with a bizarre smirk.

As we reported ... back in November 2019, Homeland Security agents were crawling around the car dealership where Duggar works in Arkansas, raiding his office in connection to a federal probe.

Josh's only current legal dispute, as far as we know, is a civil lawsuit filed against him for real estate fraud. It would appear his latest arrest is for something far more severe, though it's unclear exactly why he's been taken in.

A redditor law student sat through the zoom hearing. The judge decided not to allow the name of the video so it was referred to by 'DD'. The investigator said it is in the top 5 worst of all CSA videos he has ever come across. Also the age of the featured victim being 18 months old leads everybody to believe it was an excerpt from Scully's video. Apparently some media sources were openly reporting the name of the video. I chose not to look for it.

When I first read the reddit thread the initials and details were under spoilers. They have since been removed completely with the explanation that too many readers were seriously distressed by the details. Any other day I would have called such censorship wrong. I will leave a link under spoiler. The thread is long and comprehensive regarding what happened in the hearing. I strongly suggest you think carefully about whether you should read it. I didn't sleep last night. I am still in pain today, and I am no whiny pansy, just a mom. The whole situation is NSFL in an truly horrific way.

Reminder that the Duggars had a person who worked on their show fired when they learned he was gay because they thought that he was a threat to their kids.

The irony would be amazing if this situation wasn't so disgusting.

The fact that he’s so blithe and flippant about this makes me sick to the pit of my stomach.

I seriously hope he gets murdered in prison, slowly and painfully. These things masquerading as humans don’t deserve to live
 
Think Josh became this way because of his uptight upbringing? We could be looking at some male version of Catholic schoolgirl syndrome.

Here's my half baked theory on what might have happened:
- Josh was a horny teenager. He was taught that masturbation and premarital sex are evil.

- Being the oldest child and forbidden to get close to girls who weren't family, the only girls he had easy access to were his younger sisters. He might have seen his sisters naked when they were so young they still needed their diapers changed. The fact that he downloaded Daisy's Destruction tells us he is sexually attracted to babies, after all.

- His hormonal urges to coom overpowered his desire to be a good boy for Jesus, so he projected his fantasies on his underage sisters. And thus a pedophile was born.

No one with a brain is surprised that CP is the charge. What is surprising is this creature has DD.

Whether one is allowed out on bail or not falls to one of two factors: Is one a flight risk and/or a danger to the community.
I can concede the idea that he is not a flight risk; Josh Duggar has known of the investigation for a while and stayed put throughout.
While I would argue that he is a threat to the public, without solid evidence of him recently committing harm to others there isn't much the court can consider.
I can see why the court has made its decision to allow bail. I just don't agree with it in anyway.

I can not for the life of me understand why the court decided to allow him unlimited access to his own children with only his wife as a supervisor. There is a chance that this allowance is removed if the prosecution is allowed to interview his children and accusations are made. Which I hope they do.

I am interested in seeing what happens next. A trial is not certain, he can make/accept a plea deal or an Alfred Plea. If it does go to trial it could be a Jury Trial or a Bench Trial. I would prefer a Bench Trial. I can see the attorneys having a hard time selecting a jury; the district is littered with fundies all too willing to accept JimBob's money. Not to mention all the therapy jurors would need after having to endure the mental image of what DD is.

I don't see anyway for this all to not end in a conviction. Unless the Feds really fucked up some paperwork; which we can already see the defense trying to argue in the summary of the hearing. The only other defense is the blame anyone else who had access to the computers/phone. So, expect his brothers and possibly his own wife to be thrown under the bus.
 
It's been confirmed that it was Daisy's Destruction. Fucking kill him.

As I recall the parents blamed his behavior on helping change diapers when he was younger.

It could be a factor. But honestly I think that isolating him from being a normal teenage boy who interacts with girls would probably be a larger factor. I get that fundies think the world is evil and all that and there is definitely a lot of fucked up shit in the mainstream but they just want to go towards to opposite extreme. I dont see how any of that is healthy and really dont see how only interacting with your busload of siblings is even biblical if they claim to be fundamentalist Christians who follow the bible to the letter.

I'm pretty sure I remember Josh and his wife posting sanctimonious pics of themselves eating at Chick-Fil-A years ago, because the CEO was against gay marriage.

His parents probably literally sit back and go, "Well, praise Our Lord and Savior that at least he's not a filthy homo.".

As with most things, it ain't that simple. For one, there was a really popular thread on /r/AskReddit (I think) where everyone was posting embarrassing sex experiences or something like that. I was surprised at several men who had admitted they didn't know anything about masturbation until their 20's. I've heard of such phenomenon before, I still find it hard to believe, but it probably exists. So it is possible to never "relieve yourself" and grow up perfectly clear minded. Also, there are plenty of households with only one child that are never exposed to anything and yet when they are around the opposite sex, they are not instinctively trying to maul and molest everyone. Nature vs nurture; could go either way, but something clearly went wrong.

My wife thinks since he has lived a lie for so long now that he'll finally show his real self and go on some raping murder spree through the town.
 
Given the new updates regarding DD, I am going to spend the rest of the night curled up in a ball crying. This is genuinely unspeakable.

I hope he has a "destruction" of his own.

His brother-in-law is reading Josh and Rim Job Duggar to filth on twitter. I just wish he was harping more on the CP than the fucking TV show.

Given what we know he was jerking it to, and his reported reactions at the hearing, I wouldn't be shocked if he did. I think granting him bail was a huge mistake. Even if he doesn't go full Ted Bundy he could go the family annihilator route.

That is very weird. I assume they must have had low sex drives. It's not uncommon for people who aren't taught anything about sex to figure out masturbation on their own, after all. It's not something that needs a manual. 🤔

I assume it's a mix of nature and nurture. At any rate, it's probably a good idea not to let young men change diapers if it can be avoided. Sexuality is shaped early in life and if for some reason the boy starts fetishizing it you're left with either an adult baby or a pedophile on your hands.
