We don't know the extent of cognitive damage yet. No clear evidence of him doing anything except playing with an RC car a month or two back with a vacant stare. So he can at least stand on his own and play with a simple toy. There hasn't been much other direct evidence either way -- maybe he's just slurring his speech a bit and is self conscious so he wants to avoid making a video. Maybe he's a potato. Most likely something in between. His daughter has been claiming various things about him on social media but she is an unreliable narrator. Supposedly he's started working on his next book. We think his daughter is probably running his social media.

If we take the claim that he's seeking further benzo addiction treatment at face value, the fact that benzo addiction is a bigger problem for him than brain damage bodes well for him.

Well, most people who spend a lot of time telling crowds of people how they should live don’t actually live what they preach - at all. (See gurus, cult leaders, politicians, etc...) Jordan is no different, esp after his sudden entrance into the public spotlight.

It seems Jordan was a fairly normal college professor type for years. He did not have the personality to deal long term with sudden public adulation and controversy he drummed up by becoming internet daddy.

I think it’s safe bet he and his wife are estranged to some degree. It might have been troubled for years, but I’d bet it’s mostly due to Jordan’s sudden e-fame. I’d guarantee his sudden career as a public figure caused a huge personality shift that was toxic for his family life. I’m sure his wife, family and friends were troubled by it, but his daughter loved it because she obviously wants to cultivate her own degree of fame via being Internet Dad’s dear daughter.

Mykalya is definitely “on daddy’s side” and is very invested in his fame. I’d guess she wanted to get him away from mom who put a damper on things with her cancer and not cheerleading her husband’s new career as a internet celebrity.

The daughter is just bizarre. What young, newly married woman with a toddler wants to wander around Eastern Europe with a Dad that won’t stop eating xanax and visiting questionable clinics to magically cure him of eating xanax? It almost seems like some whacked out hostage situation. The daughter keeps Jordan away from his home, his wife, his friends so that he is totally dependent on her.

We only get her “updates” on this supposedly private matter. She seems glad to set up interviews with herself in new cities they pop up in to talk about famous Dad, but nobody talks to Jordan himself. The IG posts almost seem like “proof of life“ photos, he just isnt holding up a current newspaper.

If he really did have a stroke that has truly impaired him then he is totally at her mercy. Why the hell wouldn’t they immediately go back to Canada if he had a stroke?

Is she controlling his money too? Jordan must be paying for his daughter, SIL and grandchild to live in all these various places while he undergoes mysterious treatments and is unable to talk or communicate publicly. Certainly must be draining his bank balance after all these months.

I mean back in October she announced Dad was a pillhead and fled to Russia with him for “treatment”. Then announced he was in a coma?, had a stroke, manages all the public announcements and supposedly speaks on behalf of an incapacitated man for the last nine months or so. All while he is thousands of miles from his home, his wife and son and in countries he doesn’t speak the language. Do you think she keeps his passport locked up too?

If the roles were reversed, and a 60 year old father with no discernible career (besides IG fame) was behaving this way towards a twenty year old famous daughter people would be losing their minds.

I didn’t know much about his wife so I looked it up. I also discovered that Jordan missed the birth of his grandson, his son’s first child was born in May. It almost seems that Jordan and Mikahalia left the country right when his son and DIL announced they were expecting their first child. It would seem his wife and son lead private lives and have no interest in Jordan’s celebrity, whereas Mikhaila is trying to build her own “brand” on Dad’s coattails.

The sparse public info about his wife Tammy mostly comes from Jordan and Mikhaila. I’m not sure if she was on the all beef diet or not, but it would be bad PR to claim Jordan’s wife didn’t believe in his red meat bonanza.

Tammy has zero social media or public profile, so that right there sets her well apart from Jordan and Mikhaila. Media outlets have wanted to interview her and she’s always refused. She seems to have zero interest in being a public figure or getting attention as the wife of JP.

Its reported she met Jordan as a child, they married when she was 23. She is a massage therapist and took in lots of foster kids as well as raising her own two. So she sounds like a traditional type of wife who enjoyed raising kids, so much so that she took in foster kids. It states she has kidney cancer which is generally a killer - so even if she’s managed to be in remission she would always be in danger of reoccurrence and her health will suffer for the rest of her life.

Kidney cancer is near liver and pancreas for the do not want cancers due to the high mortality and danger of it returning.

The foster kids might explain some of Mikhail’s behavior. A lot of times kids resent their parents caring for other kids. Mikhalia has daddy all to herself now.

Of course take the description about Tammy with a grain of salt because it sounds like Jordan only wanted particular details about his wife published.
