Where did he criticize anything about tuition? As far as I know he criticized the fact that she made it possible to let the social justice tribunals to have the right to suspend jurisprudence.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=lUdgX-QtvsQ

The phony outrage over hydro one and social justice tribunals was just a tactic for these Mulroney-ites to use as a little red herring. They were pissed that the poor were getting something and the wealthy weren't getting their tax cut. They wanted Harris era business bailouts and tax exemptions.

I don't disagree, or he would have piped up when bill whatcott was actually dragged in front of these tribunals for misgendering and they tried to fine him during the trial for every misgendering (when people on the other side of the case kept doing it inadvertently too). It wasn't interesting to Peterson anymore when he already used the tribunals to facilitate his long chased ambition to fame.

That wasn't the point though. You claimed he did it to piss on the poor or tuition for the needy and you haven't given any reason to believe that.

This will be my last post on the Peterson thread but I have to say this. Jordan called the former Premiere of Ontario Kathlene Wynne ''Our devouring Mother'' and ''The most dangerous woman in Canada''. Not because of her female Lesbian status but because of one primary fact that drew outrage among conservatives: She made university tuition for low income students free in Ontario since 2013. This has since been reversed with the current premier Doug Ford.

I just want to make a note that the neoliberal agenda is a about control. Social mobility is detested and actively being crippled by NeoCon's and Jordan is heavily supportive of this agenda. Maybe the Americans don't know who this man really is but most of us do in Canada.
Get back to your rape chamber and drink more liberal koolaid you faggot idiot.

I am not ''liberal''. I have no political identity. Identity politics is an American Cancer that has has unfortunately penetrated Canada in recent times. We don't need that crap up here or your trash Reaganomics. By supporting these fools you are essentially supporting a future where they wealthy are influencing your government to prop up themselves up and destroy the standard of living for the middle class.

Your opinion is sooooo unique and truly Canuck. You transcend the political spectrum of the greatest nation the world has ever known.

Lol, It's almost like Mikhaila is reading our minds. We suspect Peterson for not having a photo and she shows us THAT photo (Duh!). Now I imagine she read your post and said, "nah, fam. This clothes thing in my instagram? Not for me."

(Bitch, please, she's asian and we are on to your photo tricks. She isn't even fat she's just pumping her stomach forward. No asian girl I've seen is just "stomach fat")

These idiots must have the nastiest smelling shits imaginable.

I can't believe that, in the photo released of Jordan by his slut daughter, she's wheeled him into ...a fucking steakhouse. Priorities, huh?

Buddy, pal, friendo...

I hope you didn't forget this is Kiwifarms.

I've learned to accept inherently that the attitudes that many have here when confronted with the potential or impending mortality of others, while repugnant, are almost inevitable and not worth being appalled about.

Outside KF, though, I went pale when I read people practically dancing on his man while he's dealing with a crippling addiction to drugs he was prescribed-- first for his anxiety resulting from the reverberating effects of a severe allergic reaction on his psyche, and then for the general burden of his wife's illness. Hardly even any discussion on whether or not he did this to himself-- it's as if they think this is automatically karma for being the ideologue that he was, or that he just didn't follow his own advice (and thus this supposed hypocrisy invalidates it all) or that the situation he finds himself in (a matter of life and death) isn't pitiable enough to at least acknowledge without whinging on and on about that one time he said something about black people that's arguably incorrect.

I always found negative reactions to Peterson rather vicious. Like, particularly vicious. As if said people were waiting for any slip in a long (or at least voluminous) career as an ideologue to triumphantly proclaim it as evidence that he didn't just screw up, but that he was always a screw up. The kind of vitriol that seemed disproportionate (and also un-nuanced) for someone you disagreed with, even if you found them pompous or vacuous.

I've heard of the "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory", to be sure, but the people I speak of were willing to attach their own names to such statements. Has the internet so thoroughly stripped us of compassion that we're incapable of even taking half a moment to appreciate even the life/death struggles of those who are merely ideological opponents, and has it so thoroughly stripped us of nuance such that we're unable to even acknowledge them, even when still set on criticizing their persons? Do we even consider ourselves talking about people, at this rate?

I dunno, I suppose I've seen this in action with entire groups of people (see the 2016 election-- and onwards-- and the denigration of Trump's voterbase by Democrats who decried them as automatic racist sexist homophobes), but it's harrowing to see it happen with a man who's at worst said things and hasn't even had any palpable effect on the legislation that flows from the culture he interacts with. Fair enough, I'm neither a fanboy nor an A-logger of his, and the voluminosity of his content since he entered the kulturkampf does mean that tracking his views (and thus verifying the grounds of the complaints against him) is quite the task for which I haven't much time... but I don't think he could have changed much since I last dropped off (when he took a shine to viewing the Bible through psychoanalytical archetypes).

I notice Americans seem to have a peculiar disdain for Canada. Why is that?
I think you're confusing anger for mockery. Canada isn't a real country and it's just funny to mock when it acts like is or like stuff that happens there matters.

If you really want to get apalled and pale at the behaviour than can go on here, read on the Terryberry thread from page one. Thankfully the culture has shifted and is no longer that cruel.

On the same vein, people in general really hate people who put themselves in positions of authority and are not magnanimus. It could feel like someone trying to pose as a fake father, trying to tell you what to do. Also being soft spoken and not raising your voice doensn't mean you are not arrogant.

Peterson is (ehem, was) super arrogant about what he knows and what he feels it's right to have a public opinion on. After many debacles ( Calling MRA pathetic weasels, poor understanding of the real meaning of white priviledge, "Peterson doesn't understand post modernism" videos etc) he NEVER EVER said "Oh gee, I talked out of my ass and was out of my depth."

I think it's a mixture of both arrogance and greed in his part and lack of magnanimity, all while being in a postion of intellectual authority that results in this agressiveness you see.

On another topic, I'm not one to judge people's writing style, the first paragraph sounds like if you were an aristocrat talking down to us in KF as violent plebs. Just saying, believing yourself to be more respectful of others doesn't make you any better than anyone (see, here comes the resistance to authority so common in our time. We hate it when people come and talk us down amd pretend to be better. Like Peterson did but was a junkie all along.)

Peterson was the characteristic man who loves to act as an authority on things he knows nothing about. He wasn't an authority on folktales but he talked about them anyway. He wasn't an authority on the behavior of lobsters but he talked about them anyway. He wasn't an authority on diet but he praised the all-meat diet anyway.

If he'd listened to people who actually knew their shit he wouldn't be a vegetable. If people are going to find schadenfreude in that, let them.

You should consider the possibility that you're only importing that sense and it's not actually a sentiment on the part of your accused. I'm not concerned with whether or not I'm "better" than people I don't know that well.

Perhaps TMI, but this isn't the first time I've gotten that kind of comment about my speech style-- it's been an issue for me even when I was much younger. There was one person who had a distaste for me because of it, but only told me so a year or so afterwards, when he realized that that's just how I speak.

What peterson seems to have done, is taken his evidently very extreme addiction (Multiple years long apparently, with this drug at the supposed max dosage he was taking that is very very bad) and searched for a country willing to have him undergo a rehab program where he quits cold turkey. (Seemingly by the use of medically induced coma which may have caused him to contract pneumonia)

See this isn't an example of Russias superiority in rehab programs, but simply a lack of ethical concerns when it comes to drug addicts, Peterson opted to take himself out of the care of people with actual ethics behind there reasoning, and place himself in the care of a country whose programs aren't the least bit concerned with the health of addicts.

I can see his reasoning if you are one like of those people who hate big pharma and don't want to go off heroin on to methadone because the "medicine" is virtually going from street bought Heroin to "Pharma-approved" Heroin. So he's a lefty loon, big surprise.

As a kid were you a "little professor"?

What happened to JP isn't good but that it happened to JP is hilarious.

The arrogant Snake Oil Salesman who spewed so much insane bullshit & told others to get their shit together went to fucking Russia to be put into a coma because he wanted a quick & easy way to cure his drug addiction. He constantly told others to clean their rooms while his own room was a dirty mess. That's hypocrisy at it's finest.

There is a great book called "Ego is the enemy" about this exact thing. A bloated ego leads to peoples downfall because they make dumb decisions.
