Jordan Peterson is pretty over with, isn't he? Nobody really gives a shit anymore, do they?

I had hoped he would turn the tide against SJWs but nope, all they had to do was label him Alt Right and that was that, no questions asked, nothing can undo the brainwashing of SJWs.

I mean I still like the guy, though I think he's overreacting over this deep fakes thing, but it's clear as this point he's done all he can do trying to fight SJWs and it wasn't enough.

Pundits don't turn the tide, the monetize the tide. They don't change minds, they reinforce the existing opinions of people and make them pay for it.

I think Peterson was making a genuine effort to reach people, the trouble is once you're labeled a suppressive person Alt Right by Scientology Social Justice Warriors then the only people who will listen are those who were already disenfranchised with it.

SJWs believe their morality is the greatest in the history of mankind and to criticize it is literally akin to Religious blasphemy, the only thing that might change their minds is a bullet through the skull.

All I'm saying is that criminal impersonation is a thing and this technology is extremely prone to be used for it.

That's a good point. Everyone is complaining about the SJWs censoring and changing things to suit their agenda. But, their counterparts aren't that much better.

Remember how the groups that were advocating for censoring videogames and every other form of entertainment in the '90s were in fact right-wing? Things like the ancient "comics code authority" are not that different from the SJWs regarding censorship, are they?


If Boomers get their way all entertainment would be extremely sanitized and devoid of anything that isn't "family friendly". SJWs are no better as you already know.

But, my theory is that Peterson lost steam not so much because he is being labeled "alt right", but rather because all the anti-sjws, including him, have failed miserably to reach younger audiences.

SJWs are playing the long game. You might have noticed how some are blatantly saying that their goal is to just wait for the current generation to die and win by taking over with the new generation. Like it or not, SJWs have the advantage with young people by having control of universities and pretty much all form of entertainment and social media.

I'm willing to bet Peterson is mostly only appealing to adults and boomers. I sincerely doubt most teens and college-aged kids are interested to listen to his lectures about the bible and lobsters.

The other right-wing hero, Ben Shapiro couldn't be more serious and dry. Love it or hate him, he acts like a middle-aged man.

Except once mom and dad are SJWs it's not cool anymore and 30 years down the road you're going to have goose stepping teenagers voting in a strongman government followed by a new paradigm. Everyone fucks it up and then the generation after them thinks they can do better.(They can't.) Boomers voted in Neo-Liberals for 30+ years. They fucked up the economy and there was a populist uprising where they all got booted out of office in favour of a strongman in Trump. Trump is going to be followed by 10-20 year of democratic socialists starting in either 2020 or 2024. They'll have a chance to fuck everything up and then something else will come after. I'm kind of hoping the generation after the SJWs rebels against urbanization and we get this pastoral rural revitalization movement. We'll see.

That's why we already have laws against criminal impersonation. This is like saying "It should be illegal for comedians to do impressions of politicians, because theoretically they could use those impressions to commit fraud"

The Problem (for me) with Jordan B Peterson is he is a social scientist, trying to be an OG Sociologist/Philosopher

So he uses Social Science to make arguments vs Philosophy
 
I found out today that an older relative of mine is a hardcore Jordan Peterson fan. I thought his audience were all young men, not the geriatric. (The only other people I knew that sucked his dick were millennial men with daddy issues).

Those "less tech-savvy people" were already convinced he was building the fourth Reich during Gamergate years simply because he wasn't full libtard as a Canadian college professor. He's not in the wrong to fight impersonation with the purpose of defamation, but his reputation was targetted and trashed loooong before this.
 
So Jordy is one of the top end folks researching IQ. So when he speaks about IQ and its correlation to Psychological traits he has done the hard (as hard as any psychology can) research. The problem is when you are a social scientist you put a narrative to frame up your data rather then speak to the data and let other peoples data form a narrative

But how deep is the rebellion going to go? These SJWs are just the latest in a long string of activistic childless weirdos who aspire to engineer society. They are by no means the smartest and they are very transparent, but we can't discount the possibility of a lasting and damaging influence much like we could with the early technocrats and some of the old school progressives of which Woodrow Wilson was one of them. Sure we have social media but if theres one thing conglomerates love it's a brainless and easily cowed audience and the SJWs and neo-progressives provide that solution and the major apparati we have to combat them are currently subverted and coopted. Theres still hope of course but even that hope lies largely in a miserable trail of broken egos and self destruction from an utter denial of a "righteous" morality.
