It has something to do with the lymphatic system and minutely drying out the liquid in the joints causing temporary crystallization inside of the joints, like some poor mans arthritis or gout, or at least that's the waffle the doctor gave me.

Water cures it, all that is needed is a flush of the system really. (Reiki, basically like a warm hand massage, without the hands. The relaxation and placebo effect do more to heal the person, than any actual practice involved.)

JBP is far from oppressed, or at least he is now. When he was arguing speech codes and the overwhelming cabal of academia's attitudes towards PC culture and marxism then I can believe it. I was always happy to enroll in the classes of prof's who didn't prop up this bull shit, and they were few and far between.

He is a complete loon. Drinking apple cider produced an "overwhelming sense of impending doom" for 25 days. He also claimed to not sleep AT ALL for those 25 days.

Since when does a minor dose of something as innocuous as a sulfite have the ability to emotionally destroy a human being? It's mind boggling that anyone, let alone a supposedly esteemed psychologist, can attribute such dramatic and ongoing psychological symptoms to consuming a particular food ONE time. If sulfites can do this then the military should weaponize them. Need to conquer a country? Just spike their water supply with sulfites and everyone will be incapacitated for a month and you can roll in and take over!

It doesn't occur to this "psychologist" that an "overwhelming sense of impending doom" could be caused by something like repressed memories of childhood abuse rather than APPLE CIDER. How can someone who is perceived as being so smart by so many people, be so fucking dumb?

Long before he was famous, Jordan Peterson appeared in court, and instead of giving direct answers and staying on topic, he did his typical thing of meandering around and being unhelpful.

Peterson. You can make fun of Slavoj for a bunch of shit, he's pretentious, pompous and he reiterates the same ideas over and over, hasn't done anything of worth for the last decade (except reiterating what he already said) but besides that, I believe that everyone putting him on the same level of Peterson is just dumb. Internet circles this deep (and specially ones dedicated to make fun of people) are very right wing, so I'm sure a lot of people think he's dumb just because he's anti-capitalism. And that's okay, most people can't see beyond ideology, confirmation bias is pretty fucking common. I don't usually agree with the guy, but he's (usually) very down to earth.

Peterson on the other hand... Well, I could have skipped that entire paragraph defending Slavoj because this exists.

Slavoj is pretty eccentric, he has said some questionable shit on the past (and the worst stuff you won't find on video) but he's definitely intelligent. You won't find him re-defining what truth is to justify his belief in god for example. The shit he believes he usually substantiates.

Yeah Slavoj atleast seems to have a somewhat in depth knowledge of philosophy compared to Peterson who seems to have just read the spark notes for whatever he’s talking about

This is just speculation on my part, but I've never seen anyone else bring it up, and I've gotten pretty good at spotting the signs: JBP has to be autistic.

Not "ha-ha, what a kook" autistic, but "the only reason he might not've been diagnosed is he was born in the wrong year" autistic. He almost makes Quentin Tarantino look neurotypical.

I understand ordinary people not wanting to come out as spergs, even when it's painfully obvious and I personally despise the rat bastards, like with Doug Walker, Stephen Miller, and Mark Zuckerberg.

But Peterson's a mental health professional. A doctor, with real credentials and decades of experience. Even if it wasn't figured out when he first had therapy (which is required to practice his field), there's no way he himself hasn't figured it out in the decades since. Not coming out is a huge conflict of interest for his entire business.

Not that it's surprising. He hasn't come out as an atheist, agnostic, or deist either. But this is a bigger deal, and he's done a huge disservice to his acolytes not admitting his autism.

Yes, this hinges on if I'm right, but come on. There are confirmed and admitted autists covered on this site with fewer tells than JBP.

It's like hearing quacks and guessing that there's ducks.

Not all autists are failures who live with their parents. Some are in the White House (Hi, Steve!). Some are billionaires (Hi, Mark!). Some are film directors (Hi, Quentin!).

Others are e-celebs. There's too many of those to mention.

I agree but holy shit your first post had nothing to do with the first paragraph in your first post.

This at least has some more validity. The way he keeps his eyes on a single person for so long is very autistic. Most profs do it to a degree but move on after maybe 5-15 seconds of saying something. Peterson keeps his eyes robotically on people for so long.
His inflection is pretty weak and he audibly sighs a lot when hes frustrated.

I'd be hesitant to label every slightly intelligent weird guy as genuinely autistic.

That's not what I'm doing, though. I'm not even saying I know for sure, because I don't, and am not a psychiatric professional.

But he still seems really autistic. Sort of like how Ryan Seacrest seems very gay, or Glenn Beck seems very ADD, or Aaron Carter seems like he was molested as a child.

And whatever percentage autism's in the general population, it's an order of magnitude higher among intelligent (slightly or otherwise), weird guys. Combine that with the mannerisms and speech Peterson displays, and I'm truly stunned I'm the only one to bring this up.
