You don't have a point. You jumped into this thread, skimmed probably the last page or two, and just said what's already been said and argued about earlier ignoring everything already said on the subject. It looks like a few people jumped in when I mentioned Shapiro, saying anything good about him is an easy way to rile up Trump cheerleaders that are still pissed at him, or are anti-Israel for whatever reason. Or maybe it's a coincidence some of the butthurt alt-right types suddenly have started visiting this thread (just look at who still says "cuck" unironically).
Given that you're a newcomer to this thread, I'd advise you to go back and read a little bit. I've been posting in this thread for awhile and I've made it clear I think Peterson is a joke. What's cute is that you're basically what I've described earlier, probably some fedora-tipping atheist that hates the guy for his ridiculously dumb views on religion and therefore feels the need to a-log him and claim he's a scammer, or some other evil. Not every moron on kiwifarms is some manipulative sociopath. JBP is a moron but he's not a sociopath. Your thought process here is basically, "JBP says dumb shit I don't agree with, he's making money in some sort of way, therefore he's actually just lying to get shekels out of people." That's a really easy, no-thinking conclusion easy to jump to because it makes someone you disagree with (whether they are right, wrong, or an idiot like Peterson is) to be some morally reprehensible person. It really is a-loggy behavior.
I'm not going to reiterate all of JBP's deficiencies to prove to you I think he's an idiot; if you want, you can go back and read further back in the thread. You probably don't even realize just how stupid some of the stuff he says is, and why, you're probably just focused on one or two things he's said that's gotten to you, whether it's regarding religion (which is what I'm assuming) or him saying something about the alt right (who all have incredibly thin skins). Or maybe you're one of the troons that are saying the same thing.
"Look at this person, he's an idiot, so therefore he's also a lying scammer and everything he does is a cold-hearted calculation to make money" gets really fucking old reading it over and over again in every thread about every random cow when it's really just poorly disguised a-loggy gripe about something they said you don't like. Yeah, I get it, everyone is a sociopathic liar; Shapiro is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, JBP is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, Tucker Carlson is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, Dave Rubin is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, Tim Pool is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, Lindsey Shepherd is a sociopath motivated by money, Donald Trump is a sociopathic monster motivated by money, Lauren Southern is a sociopathic monster motivated by money. James Damore was a sociopathic monster motivated by money. Sometimes an idiot really is just an idiot. Even Deepak Chopra, dumb as he is, sincerely believes what he writes. Is this really all you think is what motivates people?
You're so quick to throw out this accusation you end up giving these people more credit than their due. Assuming they are all coldly calculating from the very start on how to make money out of random people by saying things you disagree with or don't like makes them seem smarter than they actually are. JBP is not a criminal mastermind, dude. He's an incredibly muddled thinker steeped in the bogus psychoanalytic tradition with an incoherent Gouldian "over-lapping magisteria" metaepistemology. JBP is a classic example of an airheaded academic. Implying he's a mastermind scam artist is pretty exceptional.
You're the one in this thread insisting that JBP isn't a cow. Who is the lobster boy here...?
