He was diagnosed with CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) due to a genetic predisposition that causes the immune system to have an inability to identify and detoxify mold/bacteria in indoor air (the genetic predisposition is not that rare, it’s in about 25% of people but he has a severe version).

Over the last year or so he’s been feeling the impact of CIRS more and more. Recently he was exposed to a particularly moldy environment while helping clean out my grandfather’s house after he passed away which severely flared symptoms.

To be crystal clear - this isn’t about akathisia or medication. He’s not on any medication. It’s an immune system dysfunction.

CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) is what has been behind his multiple health issues and random severe allergies and severe food sensitivities over the years. He’s really been suffering from this badly since 2017 we just didn’t know what it was called. Only eating meat helped keep the symptoms under control but it hasn’t been enough recently.

CIRS is also the explanation behind recent cancelled shows, cancelled events, sporadic appearance of being rundown and general weepiness (caused by pain).

He’s pausing the podcast at the moment but we’re hopeful for a somewhat speedy recovery given we at least know what’s going on, and there is treatment, and he’s responding well although it’s pretty rough.

Praise GOD that we finally know what’s been going on.

The fact that doctors don’t generally recognize that mold exposure in indoor air is causing chronic health issues is insane. The fact that this is the cause behind our food sensitivities and inability to tolerate anything other than meat (for 8 years now), multiple disorders and diseases in my family, and is virtually unrecognized by the medical community, is absurd.

Just like the medical system didn’t recognize ketogenic diets as a treatment for mental disorders 10 years ago (and still most doctors don’t).

Just like psych med withdrawal wasn’t recognized 5 years ago (and still more doctors don’t recognize it).

This indoor air quality problem that causes Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome will be commonly diagnosed in the next 5-10 years. I am positive about that.

Praying we can treat him quickly and the medical community can be more aware of CIRS and building codes can change (add ERVs to HVACs) so we can get fresh air indoors.

Everyone should take this extremely seriously if they have psych, autoimmune, or neurodegenerative disorders, or have family members they live with who suffer from these disorders as mold toxicity manifests in people exposed equally, differently.

To the people in Brazil - he apologies for not being able to make the event and definitely hopes to make it out there in the future. He apologizes for moving his European tour.

So, for now on YouTube he has episodes of the new call in Q and A show -Answer the Call- that him and I recorded together before he got really ill recently. He was very excited to put this out, helping people is what he enjoys the most. That’s why he does what he does.

For the record, before Mikhaila entered the public sphere & Jordan Peterson was goin on Joe Rogan nattering on about not sleeping for weeks because he took some apple cider vinegar, he talked about how his daugther suffered from an autoimmune form of Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis requiring multiple surgeries before she reached adulthood.

But it was all cured from her switching to a Lion Diet of only meat & salt. The same diet cured Peterson of his chronic anxiety & depression (except he still needed to remain addicted to benzos).

So they seem to be retconning things again here. Apparently she is insinuating that she never actually had an awful & disfiguring form of pediatric rheumatism. She & other unnamed family members (likely Tammy, there's also a son who remains out of the public eye) are all victims of the grandma's mold honeypot conspiracy.

A big issue with this family is that after building his entire brand around self-help and taking control of your life, it is impossible for any of them to admit that Jordan is just as susceptible to societal ills as anyone else is.

It is easy to say what needs to be done to gets someones life in order, it is entirely different to be able to actually implement those things into said life. Jordan however has to sit there and pretend that isn't the case because it flies in the face of all the dumb shit he promoted over the last decade.

I don't think self help is an issue and if you then have problems. I think that in the short term lying works and it fails in the long term. Like they can't keep their story straight, because hey keep looking for weird esoteric reasons. Their need to be weird and quirky is charming in a way, but it may be his death the way Steve Jobs chose diet changes over chemo to deal with cancer

note also that while dealing with fringe science they are stating things as if they know them to be true, rather than "we think it might be" or "we suspect that"

- she was on birth control at the time
- there are some immunomodulating drugs that also could've been treatment for inflammatory arthritis
- she was on a SSRI - Lexapro

The list is from Shoppers Drug Mart, a major pharmacy chain in Canada where she would've been living at the time.

I did note the Advair, but chose to ignore it.

As you mentioned, it could indicate a childhood diagnosis of asthma, which would add to her medical history of atopic/hypersensitivity diseases.

But every asshole walk-in clinic doctor will also prescribe a $150-200 asthma puffer inappropriately if you ever go & complain to them about a cough or cold. So seeing Advair on someone's medlist doesn't guarantee they actually have the asthma disease.

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder is essentially emphysema in old smokers. The rule of thumb is that it requires 20 "pack years" to inflict the permanent damage to lung architecture to qualify.

If shouldn't be possible to smoke enough to give yourself emphysema in your teens/20s without some sort of esoteric lung genetic defect.
