I'm sure there are people that worship Peterson, like Tate, like Trump. But they aren't the majority. These public figures are just people. Sure, they might have some good stuff to say, but just because of that, you shouldn't treat them as if they are right about everything. But as I said before, critical thought is not taught anymore. So in some peoples minds, a popular figure is either a God, or they are the Devil.

Pre-coma, Peterson was definitely seen as a moral beacon and daddy figure for millions of people. Not just for boys either, back when I was dating five or so years ago, a few girls I was talking to were big fans of Peterson. His book around that time sold millions of copies and is supposedly one of the best selling books of all time in Canada. The benzo coma changed all that though for many people but there are still a surprisingly high amount of people who decided to wash their penis and credit that success to him.

Sorry to necro the thread after a month for such trivial reasons but what does 'the washed your penis' meme come from? Is it deep kiwi lore or in reference to some earlier mishandled point that Peterson spewed out before his brain meltdown.

I can't be sure since I am not familiar with all Peterson and Farms lore, but I thought that the poster meant it as a parody of Petersons advice for men to "clean your room."

And while I am in JBP's thread, it seems that he is slowly regrowing the brain cells he lost and he has been savaging Troons, Pierre Trudeau and the entire bunch of current psychologists and surgeons who have jumped on the lucrative bandwagon of "gender-affirming care." It seems he has more in common with most Farmers than not. I rather enjoy some of his Twitter posts, he is quite the curmudgeon now.

It's mostly to clown the mundane shitty fatherly advice he likes to give.
Cleaning your room will not save you from chaos or brain damage.

That is because he is getting paid to say those things now that The Daily Wire employs him. He has no real ethics or principles; you can get him to say whatever you want if you pay him to.

Peterson trying to tell jokes or otherwise be funny just comes across as weird or "off." He could tell the funniest goddamned joke on the planet, or make a truly witty observation, and it would still fall flat and leave observers saying, "Huh?"

I've said it before: the dude has absolutely no chill. He is wound way too fucking tight, and has difficulties with emotional control because of it. He also has a massive savior complex, so he broods obsessively and takes a lot of things far more seriously than they deserve.

He's just not a funny guy, even when he says something that would get a guaranteed laugh coming from just about anybody else.

The same personality issues also make him look awkward and cringey when he tries to hurl insults, or make sarcastic comments. They just don't sound natural, coming out of him, so the effect is more, "Old Man Shouts at Clouds" than "stinging rebuke."

He's such an odd duck, and really, he belongs in a much smaller, quieter pond than the one he keeps choosing to swim in. In his old, pre-fame university lectures, he was a lot more relaxed, and far less brittle than he is now. But unfortunately, there's no going back to that.
 
Peterson is the best comedian of all time, you just need to look at the right place. Get a video of him talking about Disney or rats and try not to laugh.

Why Jordan Peterson matters​

Unwavering free speech heroes are hard to come by when the Left is silencing their messages on social media, in entertainment, in the news, on campuses and even on the streets. But Dr. Jordan Peterson is willing to go to jail before he will allow his speech to be interfered with, especially as it pertains to pronoun use and trans "misgendering." He will not refer to a man in drag as "she" and he refuses to use the "proper" pronouns for a woman who claims to be a man. He said that he will never do it because far from being free speech, pronoun use and "gendering" is in fact compelled speech.

Peterson lost his tenured job at the University of Toronto because he dared to swim across the deadly current of political correctness regarding pronouns. It is to his credit that he is now reaching millions more people online with his cultural, political, theological, and environmental opinions than he could ever have hoped to reach in the classroom.
His private clinical psychology practice also had to be shelved so that Peterson could go on European tours with Dave Rubin as Peterson brought his countercultural take on life, marriage, responsibility, and other matters. He has sold out venues everywhere he has gone. Why? Because he is bringing a new no-nonsense message to (mainly) younger people that what they have been led to believe about life is totally wrong: Life is hard, life is suffering, life has meaning only with responsibility. This is the polar opposite of what the Left promotes, which is "You are wonderful, you can be anything you want to be, you deserve to have self-esteem and no pushback.”

Peterson's message, by contrast, is work hard to get what you want and take a second look at your priorities. Take the burden on your own shoulders. Grow up. Think instead of react. Work hard. Such messages are not welcomed by the Left, but a huge number of young people across the culture are responding to Peterson's tough love approach.

For me, Jordan Peterson and PJW are both the alt-right embodiment of Boogie, the same way Coach Red Pill is more like DSP. Lolcows that just spew up nonsense in hopes of their respective core audiences would believe theme
