Peterson exists solely to credentialize and legitimize the Religious Right. He probably realized he'd need to play lip service to academia to get a real hand in writing policy.

He says he's going to wear the ban like a badge of honour and he's relieved to be rid of twitter. Showcasing there was nothing organic about deadnaming Ellen Paige, he just wanted to maximize the utility of his twitter account by creating the biggest possible cntroversy. Jordan obviously knew he'd get yeeted to the "intellectual gulag" for the tweet. But instead of doing a noble self-imposed twitter exile to symbolically shame the twitter ideologues. off topic but, I don't know why people compare JP to Dennis Prager. Dennis is looking to push his agenda with his ridiculous, ''classic boomer view of the world'' videos and nothing more. Which are Peterson's exact beliefs as well, I've never seen Dennis Prager well up with tears or get repeatedly banned from social media sites either.
