watching him now makes me sad I used to get a lot of enjoyment from watching videos of him whether i agreed with him or not. now he is just such a shell of his former self i actually feel bad for him. not something i ever thought i would either. i hope he gets better just so he can really pump out the lulz again.

I am a translator for Dr JP's Youtube Channel and haven't been paid for over 7 months.
Hi guys, I am writing this post to hopefully get some advice from you guys on how to reach Dr Peterson/someone from his team. Early last year, I was recruited to be one of the translators (as a freelancer) for Dr Peterson's Korean Youtube Channel. I was very happy to be part of the team as I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to finally find some time to listen to his lectures in full and get paid whilst doing it. The pay wasn't that great but I have always been a big fan of Dr Peterson so that didn't matter too much. We were part of the bigger 'Russian team', whom we would sign the contracts with and receive information such as which videos to translate next, etc.



Since early July last year, the team would tell us that they were having troubles with sending overseas payment (which was their way of sending our wage) and told us that it would take a couple of weeks to be fixed. I thought nothing much of it and waited for a while but they would tell us the same thing near the due date. This went on for a couple of months so we ended up arranging for a meeting with the head of the Russian team, who promised that we would get paid in full soon enough.. but we never did. I also tried messaging him personally a couple of times but never got a reply and it's been over 6 months of ignored messages and excuses. Thankfully, another member in the Russian team was kind enough to reach back and tried her best to update me on the status but nothing has progressed as of yet.



I am just confused as to what is happening as I do not know why and what is happening. And all I hear back in return is that there is an issue with x, y and z, or I will get paid next Monday or the week after or... you get the point. This has especially been tough for me as the pandemic made it more difficult for me to get other side jobs to pay for bills & utilities and study for uni at the same time. I did quit about 4 months ago and thankfully got myself another side hustle last month, but ~900USD is quite a lot for me, especially as a college kid. I was hoping someone on this subreddit could give me an advice on how I can reach Dr Peterson or someone from the team so I can figure out what is happening and hopefully get paid soon. I also felt bad about constantly hassling the Russian team (sorry Elizabeth!) for an update and thought this would be the most effective way to fix the problem.

The Russian translation team of Jordan B. Peterson scammed the Russian people
Hello, everyone.

So this is not clickbait or anything, this is a real situation.

As many of you know, professor Peterson has side channels on YouTube that are being managed by Non-English speakers (For example, Jordan Peterson in Russian (and that is, let's say, our main character for my today's story))

So. Professor released a book called "Beyond Order" and it was a bestseller in USA. But the Russian Fans waited patiently, because we know how hard it is to translate from English to Russian without missing out the main theme of the book.

In the beginning of this November the Russian Team posted a message on Telegram that the book was translated in Russian by the team itself (usually, books are translated by Authorized Publishers, but in this case it's just a fan translation, I guess).

There are around 1200 people in this Telegram channel, so we all were pretty happy about these news, myself included. As soon as I saw the message, I dropped everything I was doing at that moment and rushed to my PC to order a brand new book by Mr. Peterson. And the best part was not the price (it's about 1000 rubles or 15 dollars approx.), but the fact that and I quote "the book will be in your hands at the 25th of November, the week before the 25th, we will sent a tracking number".

And so The fans and I waited the week before the 25th and... Nothing. Pretty much nothing happened. We didn't receive the tracking numbers. That's okay, I thought, maybe next week.

The 25th of November crawled slowly and we still didn't receive the tracking numbers nor the statement regarding the shipping process.

And now we go back to our time. The Russian Team still didn't do anything: they didn't send us the tracking numbers, they didn't post an official statement or anything. They even ban the fans in the Telegram chatting group, if anybody ask about anything regarding the book.

So i hope that maybe Professor Peterson himself, will read this post and punish the people who are responsible for this and maybe rearrange the team.

Why I think that Professor Peterson has the contacts with this Russian Team? Well, besides the fact that they are linked in his main channel, Professor Peterson also posted a Twit with a link to a preorder website, which was created by the Russian Team https://mobile.twitter.com/jordanbpeterson/status/1456720656649834498?s=21

I also addressed the whole situation on Twitter and on YouTube (in the comments)

Edit: damn, guys, you didn't have to put the awards. Thanks y'all, I appreciate that, but we still need to make sure that professor reads this. I'm thinking about starting a Twitter storm, so this issue somehow would be trending, but I guess half of you all don't have Twitter. Let me know in the comments if you want to participate.

Update 1: just called to the delivery service and asked if the Publishing company hand over the books to them. They said no. The best part is that the Russian Team claimed in the YouTube comments that they did that.

Update 2: just got an emal from the Publishing company. Said that they want to send me the book by a delivery guy. Something's not right. Maybe they found me through my posts. Gonna check out if others got the email. If everything is okay, I will accept the offer. If not, then hell no.

Update 2.5: nobody from my team received an email... Guess I'm the only one. So, I thought of the plan, if it's a set up. I'll ask the delivery guy to leave the book on the reception desk at my office building (don't want to leave my real home address, because who the hell knows what they prepared for me), but I asked the question in advance on email. Almost two hours have passed and still no reply. I think I ruined their little "redemption" plan. Plus, someone from my team wrote them way earlier than me, but the Publishers answered only on my email, when I wanted to clarify the delivery cost, so it's definitely a set up. Let's see what's gonna happen next.

Update 3: this is a whole shit show, to be honest, I don't even want to write all the details, but they became active (I think because of my Exposing Operations) and they making so much mistakes... Lies upon lies and it's so painfully obvious. Got a little bit of patience and hope left in me, so I will keep on going, see y'all in update 4

Update 4: So, everything is alright, tho, they announced the hand delivery option after I got the email. Long story short, they answered the email where I asked them if the delivery guy could leave the book at the reception desk in the office building I'm working, and after that they asked me if it was okay to deliver the book on sunday, even though at the first email they told me that they gonna deliver the book tomorrow, I got pretty pissed and tired of their fucking stupidity, excuse my french, and asked if they can just do the whole delivery thing through a company. After waiting for three hours, they finally replied that they will send me the book today or tomorrow and send me the tracking number. I'm not gonna take it easy until I get that book in my very own hands. Also, I'm definitely gonna carefully examine the book before I will bring it to my flat, cause God only knows, maybe they planted some shit like drugs and they gonna set me up. I'm not a paranoid person, but this type of shit is kinda normal in our country, sadly, or maybe something worse.

The next step is to patiently wait the tracking number, but I'm still not over this story. And if somehow Professor Peterson gonna read this, I want him to punish the Russian Team and their partner - the dumbest fucking Publishing company which I won't name because I don't want a cease and desist from them.

Nigga you stupid. On a more eloquent note I could watch xavier renegade angel & get the exact same type of bullshit peterson makes money from doing but for free. If anything the guy you worship who tells people to clean there room can't even do that himself. Also an all carnivoer diet is fucking stupid. Humans are omnivores, we need both. Also back to xavier renegade angel, I would heavily argue in the court of law that peterson is violating adult swims copy right by continuing to press on with his ramblings that are inline with how an episode of xavier renegade angel would go.

Reasons I expect to read: I am starting a new website to help young people, I had a visionquest that told me to go my own way.

Actual reasons now that I've read the article: canadian campus is crazy, and save for a few true believers everybody has to constantly lie to get research grants to appease the diversity/equity quota's and ideology. Fair enough. Pretty good reason.
