I like Jordan Peterson. But I find his views on religion cringe worthy. And as a Christian fag, the stuff he says isn't just flat out wrong but literally ass backwards. Which makes me really question him but outside of that he's pretty solid for entry level redpill.

I just saw this video and thought of what you wrote before.
You don't swe the truth/lie mix in what he says here? Curious, because it seems quite deceptive to me.
It seems to me that the direction he urges people to go is completely in line with the WEF goals. He's mostly trying to take care of the second part of the statement "you'll own nothing and you'll be happy". He always seems to want people to accept certain things that I don't think they should accept.

The more I've thought about it and the more I've listened, yeah, I've started to see more things I'd call deceptive or at least questionable.
Also a Christian, what's he said that's totally ass backwards?

That's my main gripe with him. Always yamming on about the "fellatio distribution" or whatever the fuck it's called that he wields out to defend the hording of vast wealth by billionaires. There's plenty of naturally occurring human traits that we mitigate and control via our law and justice system. Greed should be one of them.

It does depend on what faction of Christian you are. Like if you're from the Protestant side you might not find any offense to his interpretations on Christianity.
Like one is the whole be a monster argument. He says it's because meek is a bad translation. But if you actually see the meek pattern in the Bible it has nothing to do with being strong but reserved and has everything to do with God makes the weak mightier than the strong. Hence David and Goliath.

Peterson is just a man with Karen energy. People idolizing him look and sound more feminine. Look at his family, he is pretty much the quiet mom popping pills so they can smile in public and cry at home. I mean fuck he basically got famous off the same shit JK Roland got shit for, and failed to effect anything. Scrappy do is more macho then this guy.

Closest I'd be is original Protestantism, but I agree if he's said that about meekness. I've seen the pieces of advice from him about being a monster and embracing your bad side to succeed, and I can see what he's trying to say, but I don't agree with it at all. Like you said, it's through the Lord and Him alone that we have strength, not focusing evil within us on doing good things for ourselves or something like that.

It's not that you focus on evil. It's just that it's not the message of Jesus. Like what he says isn't that bad. It's really his interpretation and usage that is bad. Like if he wasn't using scripture as a means to spread a false message that would be fine.

This makes... no sense when you think about it from a theological perspective. From any perspective, really.
He says "Be a monster and then learn how to control it." But it never, ever ends up that way. If you remember your Stevenson, Dr. Jekyll ended up not being able to control Mr. Hyde and it ended up pretty badly for him.
That's why most religions teach you to keep your bad impulses in check and not succumb to them, not give in to them and try to control them.

Something you must understand is Canadians are not typically religious. He pretended to be more religious than he actually is to gain popularity in the United States. He may not even truly understand Christianity. Most Canadians don't attend church.

Sorry for barging in here out of context - but I saw some JP video suggested after years of not watching anything from that looney toon, and got me wondering about his downfall and what happened exactly to him. Can someone QRD me on Peterson mental breakdown timeline, I forgot all about it, just vaguely remember that it was something about him going to Russia and doing some bizzare drug experiment on his brain? Or something like that?

Thanks for the answer - but why was he on benzo? I'm not familiar with that drug, antidepressant? Yeah this video I saw of him was weird, he's so strange now, he always been weird but he knew how to hide it better I guess, now this JP 2.0 seems like a person who's about to have a mental breakdown any second, broken man. I guess that's how it goes when you lie about 200 years together.

I think his lies crushed him, he probably got pulled aside by the Intellectual Dark Web society and they put him in his place, and he cancelled that Faith Goldy from speaking, sperged out on the JQ in front of live audience on camera, openly said nobody should mention "200 years together" etc etc etc.
Also, he claimed we should clean our room but he lived in a messy space, and he gave all kinds of parenting and other pompous life advice, but his own daughter...I mean...I'm not gonna go into that.
So yeah. Tough luck Peterson. I still tremble when I think about the time when I started to read his book, stumbling on "dreaming about grandmothers pussy hair" part...what a nutjob.
