Haven't watched the video yet, but fuck you Bicentennial Man was a good movie and Robin Williams carried it into a surprisingly emotional take on the original story.
I agree 100%, genuinely love the film, though to be fair, it definitely got bogged down a bit in places and was a bit tonally inconsistent. The biggest fault wasn't the film itself, it was just mis-marketed to absolute hell and back, and it would've performed so much better be remembered more fondly if the trailers hadn't tried to sell it as a lighthearted RW comedy about a funny robot.

It could have been a bit shorter, at least. Was the teenage girl robot necessary? I noticed JonTron didn't even mention her.

They definitely overplayed Galatea's bubbly valley girl programming for comic relief, but she did serve a genuine purpose in the story. She even ended up being near-human herself as Andrew's nurse at the end of the film.

Something tells me he was going through his movie collection to see what's kid-appropriate and found this shoved in the corner of a shelf or box and had a brilliant idea.

"I need to talk about existential crisis in a YouTube video!"

It's been a really long time since I've seen it, but that tracks.

I do remember it was a somewhat popular movie on kids cable channels, which is kind of weird for such a heavy subject matter but hey better give kids something with a uplifting and thought message than some lolrandum slop.
