I know, I know. Don't be fooled by the title, it's bait.
This girl might be kind of annoying but she gives an honest to god retrospective on Jon's videos and is an actual oldhead fan. She loves his videos and appraises and analyzes their quality beyond "yikers that didn't age well"
I give this video 4/5 stars.

If Daikatana isn't rated highly I'm going to call this slop
Edit: I deep this slop simply because she really harps on his use of the "R slur" and has to immediately address the Destiny debate in a video about his content. She also literally says "that didn't age well" and "yikes" so idk.
I just realized his son is a year old now. Likely walking and practicing his runs, babbling nonsensical sounds, giggling at the littlest things, sticking numerous objects into orifices and making his dad omit weird ECH noises himself at the sight.
Him being silent just means he takes fatherhood seriously, wants to be in the kid's life. Really happy for him.

I don't get why people get so upset over the destiny debate to this very day. Jon was arguing for his points shittily but he wasn't wrong, source being: look at literally any Western-European capital right now.

because optics are everything and if you fuck it up once that's it forever for you. there is no "but he argued from the point of view of the child of immigrants," because they don't care about that context. that is not what they heard. they heard this and that's all they need to know. if you try to explain what he was talking about (because you actually watched the debate) or use this, they're not even going to listen. they do not wish to understand. this principle also applies to people who were accused of sexual harassment or e-sexual harassment and were later found out to have not committed the crimes they were accused of. whether it turns out that everything you said was taken out of context between two friends who regularly say such things to each other, or that the accusations involved hypnosis induced via bird, or that they just didn't like you very much, you can not get them to accept any real explanation that wasn't the first thing they heard.
In hindsight, yes. I will say in Jon’s defense, internet cancel culture was still in its infancy when he agreed to debate Destiny, so he probably wasn’t aware the repercussions of even going slightly political back then.
*Insert joke/lament about how gamergate in 2014 irreversibly changed the internet for the worse.*

waiting for approval as well.
Edit: I got like 5 minutes into it, the narrator is like that 101 facts guy type voices, way too excited while clearly not giving a single shit about what he's reading granted it's not AI.
I'd say it's a skip unless you just need some background noise.
If you're a fan of Jon you won't be missing out because it's just the same shit
I skimmed. Guy does a pretty basic rundown of Jon Aryan Jafari's career, nothing you couldn't figure out with a handful of google searches.
However, he is a smarmy safe-edgy britcuck who paints right-wing pushback against mass migration and political correctness as mindlessly hating immigrants and poor people instead of people with more money than you. Also, mocking Jon for thinking all leftists are 2016 SJW caricatures from debunking compilations that apparently don't exist (because modern popular leftism is known for its diversity of thought o algo).
Essentially, he implied that Jon was manipulated into being an evil racist instead of being a sensible good goy and accepting everything the mainstream media and government wants you to believe. I wouldn't care what Node believes in otherwise, but it got annoying watching him do the equivalent of looking at the camera and raising an eyebrow with a incredulous smirk each time he talked about Jon's "controversial" comments.
This guy is certainly a liberal golem who shares 99% of his beliefs with the lamest faggots you know but recites the mantra "Charlie Kirk Israel Epstein Epstein" to retain his racy internet funny guy card like every "edgy" leftist online nowadays. SKIP

I did like the guy’s other videos on the Sleepycabin guys. But this video relied heavily on strawmanning Jon’s beliefs because it’s much easier to pretend your country and people aren’t being systematically replaced with Brownoids rather than face reality.

AUTISTIC ANALYSIS:
There's also an odd part of the video where Node uses this joke from the beginning of the Crystal Skull Vodka video:
...as an example of Jon's humor in this era being hit or miss, complete with the Youtuber trope of inserting an ironic laugh track to emphasize that a joke is unfunny.
I know humor is subjective, but is this really an example of bad comedy? It's quick, satirical joke with that segues into the topic of the video. It's not even that out of place when the entire video is about celebrity shilling. The subtext of Jon's joke is that late-night shows are an outdated format that refuses to die, clinging to relevancy like a ghost clinging to the mortal world.
Even if you don't have the background knowledge to understand the satire, Jon's exaggerated fear of a floating ghost TV playing clips of a cringey talk show that instantly shifts to him treating it like a bothersome roommate still works from an absurdist angle. There's even multiple comments expressing enjoyment at the joke, with a few commenting on how prescient it was considering the cancellations from low-ratings these shows have experienced since the upload.
Is this really the worst bit of comedy he could find?
But, in a video in which he makes his stance on many issues clear, perhaps this bit of editorializing from Node was just another example of seethe from Jon making a joke at Jimmy Kimmel and Steven Colbert's expense when you consider their extremely vocal hatred of Trump and the "censorship" controversy from a year ago.
Node Armstrong is an offended progressive who undoubtedly shares 90% of the same views as your average pro-EU boomer despite all of his posturing as a hip internet man who has a thing or two to say about Israel and AIPAC. Many such cases.
Wowza! Agartha memes, Epstein and Charlie Kirk jokes!? How transgressive!

I watched it and he kinda self owns himself - he mocks jon over his opinion on leftists as raging SJWs at the time while simultaneously saying that the debate was a lot more tame than it was made out to be by people.
Yeah, wonder why, it's not like the insuing shit storm afterward wasn't asking him to explain his position or even really looking into the claims, it was all about painting him as a racist.
Guy is to young to remember, and too British to understand.
