The NormalBoots crew were talking about ousting Jon for a while now. It's on the first few pages of this thread I believe.
 
That's the most milquetoast "ousting" I've read in a while. I'm guessing the lot of them are aware how much their fanbase overlaps with Jon's and don't want to rock the boat too much.

Isn't "focusing on his channel" the same reason that was given as to why he left GameGrumps?

If that's the case, he's not doing a great job at it. There hasn't been a new video from him in months, and even then, his more recent videos have felt rather empty and boring, and I feel like they're lacking in that certain 'charm' that comes with a JonTron video.

Kinda similar to how he left Game Grumps to focus on JonTron. But still it's pretty concerning to see how Jon hasn't uploaded a vid in months.

If this is true (and it sure as hell looks true) it explains so much. For one thing, it explains why Jon's a fan of Stefan Molyneux. The abusive parents made him the perfect target.

I see this as the reason Jon dislikes SJWs, should it be real. His parents yelled at and ragged on him, so SJWs sound like his parents who were a bit mean.
I don't think the abuse was strong enough to mess him up or traumatize him or whatever like this vid tried to imply.

A common theory is that he has anxiety due to how his parents treated him.
 
Jon has admitted that he didn't understand his parents as a teen or something like that, so it's likely that they might have overdone it a bit sometimes but still loved him.

Plus his mum called him up once during a Game Grumps episode to let him know his father came out alright out of an operation so obviously they're still on good terms.
