What a lousy excuse for a publisher. I'd distance myself from Team 17 as soon as possible if I were them.

Found an interview with Jonno, and he delivers this buzzword-filled word salad.

Queerness is different for everyone. It is a refusal to subscribe to overt patterns of heteronormativity and cis-normativity. It is directly challenging nuclear units of living, and the respectability politics of traditional LGBT movements. More powerfully, it is a space of sociality which does not necessarily define. The human experience is so complicated and I hope to recognise that by calling myself queer. I’m finding it more useful to sit in that space of unknowing, and to make myself at home there.

I would say this: making art about your identity may lead some people to reduce your art to a label, to denounce it, to not take it seriously for its subject matter. These are indications that you should keep going. Keep working on yourself as a human and try to speak truthfully to your experiences. Try to be ok with being imperfect and to be in the mindset of a perpetual beginner. Slowly approach that which makes you uncomfortable and scared. This is all advice I could start following myself as well!

As said, their marketing and PR fellow at Playtonic is one man. It's likely the Team 17 idiots doing most of this, but then again Yorkshire is hardly an SJW county, and Wakefield especially so.

Unless they're from out of county there's someone being shouted at for being a bloody idiot right now.
 
Double posting but Here's the idiot's linkedin that seems to be taking cliff notes from Dina.

He's from the cesspit that is Suffolk Uni here in the UK (Mind, only a few of the Midlands/Northern ones aren't these days) and by the way his Team 17 profile's been barely updated in over a year seems prepared to dig in and stay there.

So it certainly explains a lot, he's some wet southern ponce up in Yorkshire in an area often neglected utterly by anyone not the bean counters (Or CD Project Red).
