Sorry I'm late to respond to this, but I wanted to mention something...

If Yaniv were criminally charged for any sex offences or the pepper spray incident, he almost certainly wouldn't be dragged out of the building in cuffs. Most likely the police would issue him a promise to appear and leave without him. People are only remanded into custody pending trial if there are flight risk or public safety concerns, and Yaniv's shenanigans don't rise to the required level.

The charges would appear on Court Services Online and could thereby be confirmed to us, but this would only happen after his first appearance, which would be a few months after he was charged.
 
How the fuck did he ever intend to get away with the topless youth swimming event? That's like some shit from a bad hentai manga.

Yaniv is a shining example of why I don't like to consider myself part of the "LGBT" thing, even though I'm bisexual. I don't want to be seen as part of any group that includes someone like that.

To be fair, it wasn't his idea nor did he set up the event. It was a local LGBTLMNOP++++ group. Johnny hopped to their defense after it got cancelled when people pointed out that it was predatory as fuck. Some activists might focus on the violence gay men and women are facing outside of the West, but Johnny's cause du jour is letting 12 year old girls swim topless and share a change room with adult men. Shows you where his priorities lie.

My bad, I didn't read too much about it because it's gross and it makes me feel gross to think about it. Still, how did anyone intend to get away with hosting this event? What parent would let their kid go to this, and what kid would want to go to it?

Also, their description of the event calls it "LGBQT2S+"... we're throwing numbers into the mix now too, apparently

Charges appear on CSO as soon as an Information is sworn before a judge. Results on CSO that have yet to be actioned in Court will appear without an appearance date. (This kind of result is a sure indication the person is actively wanted for arrest)

IANAL but I'm pretty sure any offence relating to prohibited weapons or child sex offences would require an arrest. I would doubt they'd just give a summons for that.

Jesus. I wish South Park would do an episode on Yaniv where a weird, obviously male Canadian in a dress came to South Park and forced the boy's mothers to wax his balls in their newly opened Salon/Spa. Of course, PC principal would malfunction because he wouldn't know who to defend.
 
I want to add in here to the discussion about the all ages swim. It was not originally JYs idea to have an all ages LGBTQ+ swim, but he did add the “topless” stipulation. Other towns may be holding this event, and the original organizers may have had somewhat innocent, if naive, intentions with it, but JY is the one who attached “topless” to it and made it a 12+ event, rather than 12-24 (still a ridiculous range, but at least one that barred him from attending). I don’t get why more people aren’t pointing that out.

The original announcement said bottoms were a must but tops were optional. Him trying to get the "all ages 12+" instead of "youth" was the change.

IANAL either but I actually did confirm what I wrote with a Vancouver-based criminal defence lawyer before posting.

I agree, sorry guys but the past page was pretty off-topic. I did some cleaning and moved the posts into https://kiwifarms.net/threads/critical-discussion-of-trannies-and-pedophilia.58784, if you want to discuss the trans movement, I would think that is probably the place to do it. :) The thread here is pretty specific in its purpose of only being for discussing instances of Yaniv being creepy towards kids, evidence of it happening, updates, etc.
