Reminder that tomorrow would be release of the 2nd Batch of Part 6 (Episode 13-24).

Also, couldn't post it due to the site being locked, but the kino JoJo doujin got a new chapter on the 25th of August. We learn of the origins of DIO meeting Kakyoin in this one.

Yeah I read the new chapter, and it looks like things are ramping up to the end in the manga.

Also can't wait for the 2nd batch. I know the schedule is fucky, but the final batch will hopefully be sooner, given that New Moon Pucci is going to come out as free DLC for ASBR, so the third batch will probably come around that time.

It takes a fair bit of cope to be satisfied with Stone Ocean's anime considering it's my favorite part, but I'm still so happy to see the Planet Waves fight animated. That was the moment where I really loved Jolyne and she showed she's Jotaro's daughter and a Joestar to the fucking core.

"GAME SET!!!!"

Really like Anasui's theme. Wasn't expecting something like it for him until I remembered he dresses like a fucking pimp in the new universe.

Watched the first two episodes of Batch 2, and so far it's really good so far. My only complaint is how there are recaps that really make no sense with the batch release format which makes things feel very reductive.

Speaking of, will only say this once since it's repetitive at this point, but it actually annoys me how Stone Ocean's anime is overshadowed by the bonkers schedule it has. The way people talk about the anime as though its shit just because of a release schedule is crazy since the actual product is good (Judging by the first 14 episodes overall), but just had an unfortunate schedule

As much as I like STONE OCEAN, I'm legit disappointed that we didn't get a new OP.
Episode 12 had the SFX version, so it seemed like a new one was supposed to be coming at the very least.

Edit: I just checked and episode 24 doesn't have SFX.

Honestly the issue with Stone Ocean's OP at this point is that it doesn't have imagery which matches the current arc. If it had an opening similar to Fighting gold where the imagery wasn't specific to a certain section, it wouldn't be an issue as Fighting gold was the OP for about 20 or so episodes.

It's likely Stone Ocean will get a second OP for the final batch, if not that is a grievous disappointment.

Yeah no new OP is a letdown, though I really like it so it's not a huge loss. Think my favourite fight is the feng shui for how batshit it was. The 3 memories "fight" was really hard to
RIP FF, you magnificent Plankton. I didn't understand if Anastasia survived Pucci's attack or not. Hopefully he and weather report make a comeback.

Damn, this season was good. Also, Anasui's theme is great.

That said, it's somewhat funny to me that out of all the gore, it's the toenail scene that made me shudder for a second, & it was somewhat censored.

Also, poor FooFoo :semperfidelis:

Now we wait another year for this to end.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume we're going to get hit with the WB property wave for Bohemian Rhapsody since they changed the Mickey birthday line to Bugs Bunny.
